The US Air Force is hiring a team of diversity, equity and inclusion managers on salaries of up to $180,000 per year.

As the United States faces growing threats from China and Russia - highlighted by the downing of an American drone by Moscow forces yesterday - Air Force chiefs are creating plum jobs to achieve their 'inclusion mission' at home.

One senior role at the Pentagon, advertised earlier this month, pays up to $183,500 per year. The 'supervisory diversity equity inclusion and accessibility officer' will be responsible for making top-level decisions about the Air Force's diversity policies.

Critics of the diversity push say the strength of America's military during a time of heightened international tensions 'is being threatened by a left-wing woke agenda' and called the agenda 'disturbing'.

They seem to have made a distinction between each other. A distinction without much difference, but anyways. What is this Ukrainian/Russian things vs the Canadian/American nonsense you are trying to compare? One is a group of ethnics and the other is a group of nationalities. For example Chrystia Freeland is a Canadian citizen, but has Ukrainian roots.

the Kaiser also benefited from previous German grievances and economic struggles. Now I wouldnt say it was handed to Wilhem 2, when he was born there was no German Empire, it was just Prussia. His dad and Otto Von Bismark are mostly responsible for the unification of Germany, Wilhem 2 was still a capable statesman, and considering Bismark died 2 years into Wilhems 2 reign it's hard to say Wilhem was dependent on others within his nation.

I am not necessarily arguing Putin is closer to one or the other. Just that I wouldnt jump to Hitler, it has been Hitler literally one time in our entire human history. His is the "sexy" bad guy name used to create support against him. But it's the same fallacy the Russians call the West and Ukraine Nazis.

A few? And "problematic" is apparently less than 1%. That's a good bit too absolutist for my liking.
