Ahead of Biden-Yoon Meeting, US Accused of Spying on South Korea

Late last year, South Korea agreed to sell artillery shells to the United States. At the time, Seoul insisted the United States would be the ultimate destination for the weapons.

According to the leaked report cited by The New York Times, Yoon's secretary for foreign affairs, Yi Mun-hui, said the South Korean government "was mired in concerns" that Washington would divert the weapons to Ukraine.

The memo also allegedly included other internal South Korean deliberations about how best to respond to U.S. pressure to arm Ukraine's military.

Why does the US have to pay for 100K shells with SK? You would think the SK would provide especially considering our security commitments to their nation for past 70 years. BS

I dont trust anything Russia made/makes after seeing their tanks roll into Ukraine with their "Mattress Firm Buy One Box Spring get the Other Half Off" reactive armor.. You'd have to "assume" those upper air intakes actually work..

Too bad they didn't design engines like the C-130's where you can just toss a handful of Omani rocks into the intake and it chews up and spits it out.

True, but they are capable of and designed for it. I believe only our A-10s could land on roads without real fear of damaging the engines (not counting the V/STOL aircraft like AV-8 or F-35).

Watching a C-130 landing on a dirt strip and reversing the props is a sight. Huge dust cloud.
