War in Ukraine

What benefit will Ukraine have by joining NATO at this point? They're not even a member right now and get member privileges already.
Nah member privileges would mean Russia would have been out of Ukraine with their tails between their legs already.
Idk probably the same benefit Poland, and other Eastern European countries see. Russia won’t be terrorizing them.

He’s playing dumb. Russia and their propagandists are pretending this war is a war with NATO to cope with their struggles.

They in fact can and did take Crimea, who had been trying to breakaway from Ukraine for years. It was much more Russian than it was Ukrainian.

The reason their terms were generous is because every sane person knows they were/are going to win this war but what most people didnt expect was the absolute lethal way in which Russia would go about it (high kill ratios inflicted on Ukraine and general demilitarization of not only Ukraine but NATO).

The longer this goes, the more generous Russia's peace offers early in this conflict, look.
They've expanded NATO footprint and Ukraine is far more militarized/armed today.

You claiming Ukraine was less armed/lethal before they invaded is a hilarious goal post move. A mostly defense oriented army now has capabilities they never had before. It's comical you repeatedly parroting Russian propaganda not even Russia believes.

You must define soon different than I do. War has to end, etc., for this to happen.
just another reason utin will turn this into another one of his frozen conflicts.

Keeps Ukraine out of NATO, and allows him to say he hasn't lost/not achieved all his goals.

The only chance NATO has to beat Russia is to go nuclear. And at that point, no one wins.

You've of course come to this conclusion after watching Russia fumble around for a year against Ukrainian soldiers armed with some 30 year-old NATO stockpile weapons, and Soviet hand-me-downs?

700k Russians against the Ukrainians alone. with Ukraine having little to no airpower to speak of. Little to no naval capacity. little to no armor. Limited engagement zone of Russia's choosing.

This fight against Ukraine is literally as easy as it gets for Russia. a fight against NATO would bring in so many more variables, and Russia can't handle an infantry only Ukraine.

Hard to enjoy driving my new lada, that I got in exchange for my son dying in Ukraine, if I can't afford to fill it up.
I think they cancelled the Lada compensation after a few months. They get a set of bath towels or linens now days.

Edit: One reason was demand outstripped supply.
