He was sitting in an Nazi internment camp for wanting a free Ukraine from the Nazis and the Soviets, as he was not willing to accept the terms the Nazi's offered. They only released him AFTER the Nazi's were pushed out of Ukraine, hoping that he would hurt the Soviets in his push to free Ukraine from everyone.

I hardly call it working FOR the Nazis if you spend more time in jail than you do free.

Economy (personal COL) , violence, border, China/Taiwan, Biden family issues, Biden/Harris ticket being incompetent…it’s a continuation of the news cycle when these other items come and go.

Create the need to a long proxy war and it takes headlines.

Except Ukraine really isn't the headline. Those other stories are already more widely covered than the conflict in Ukraine.

Today…let me know when Ukraine flags have been removed from cars and social media handles. Just not a headline until it needs to be.

You think that Putin invaded Ukraine to distract from our border woes over a year later?

Is it possible that things happen in the world that aren't related? I thought we were done with this Q level nonsense.

I can't remember the last time I saw a Ukrainian flag on a car, to be honest maybe I only saw one or two ever..... Months ago.......

And maybe one or two flags on social media..... Certainly not something I think the vast majority of people are really paying attention to.

If the current admin is using this war to distract the public they are failing miserably.......... As they have in every other aspect.

A "proxy war" is what Russia waged against Ukraine from 2014-2022, when it sent Russian soldiers to Ukraine to pose as 'separatists' in the eastern part of the country.

You implied that the proxy war was some sort of conspiracy ginned up by the media to distract from America's hardships.

Look. I don't think Putin is particularly bright, but I don't think he's clairvoyant enough to know starting a war with Ukraine would take focus away from our border problems. I'm simply asking for your rationale in making that implication. Assuming he's clairvoyant, why would he do that?

I didn’t say it was a conspiracy…I said it was a distraction by our government. No mention of Russia or Putin on my end.
