War in Ukraine

They haven't taken Ukraine's second largest city that is basically on the border and you think they have the ability to push up to and occupy territory up to the Dnipro?
And again, this is where you have zero understanding of a war of attrition. It is not about territory or cities. It is about destroying the other sides army. The Kyiv Regime continued to send in more and more troops to get killed and more equipment to be destroyed.

The problem with that is they’ve done more damage to their own army.

There are rumors that Ukraine is envisioning a Stalingrad-like envelopment of Bakhmut, especially when you see their focus on the flanks. I can't help but wonder if the Russian MOD isn't looking to an opportunity to end Wagner. Get them to push more troops into the city, pull back on its flanks to allow the encirclement and then watch as Wagner is eliminated with maybe 2 or 3 half-hearted attempts at relief.

And you need to ask yourself... why did Zelensky say that the Battle of Bakhmut was going to determine the direction of the conflict when he came to Congress in December 2022?
He as the leader of Ukraine. They have what he needs to fight a war against Russia. He is trying to get help in every way he can for his country. The most important battle is the one you are in right then.
