War in Ukraine

Looks like the UAF is making good progress on the Zaporizhzhia front, but at a high cost. Several Leopards lost and a dozen+ Bradleys.

Hope they'll zerg and blow through the fronts soon.

The equipment did its job though and the crews survived. Had they been on Soviet era BMPs/BTRs or T-64s/T-72s they most likely would be dead.

I know one thing, I'd hate to live in the Philly area come Monday morning because there is going to be one huge traffic mess with the main north/south interstate backed up for miles in both directions all summer long. People thought closing the I-40 bridge from Memphis to Arkansas was bad, that was a picnic compared to this.

There was a reason long ago for cities to grow along rivers. Things changed, and now geographical obstructions like rivers and roads absolutely don't play well together. Railroads and roads don't play well together either, and nether do interstates and surface roads. At the heart of all the screwup lie "planners" without a clue. Most places have a few chokepoints that if all hit at once would grind the place to a complete halt.
