It goes without saying that neither the US, Russia, nor Ukraine are members of the treaty that bans cluster munitions...

Attention: @Rasputin_Vol Could you post some Russian propaganda for my entertainment. I'm just not seeing anything good happening for your guys. It's all bad news. High ranking officers getting killed. One murdered, one in combat. Another one sacked. Cluster bombs and more Storm Shadows on the way. F-16 crews and maintenance personnel being trained. Advances at Bhakmut. Sweden to be confirmed. NATO is having a yuge unity celebration in Russia's back yard. C'mon Ras. I need a good laugh.

Notably absent from the Fox headline in recounting the post (in their painfully obvious effort to make it look like Biden was being criticized by Zelensky) was that Zelensky's complaint was largely based on lack of setting forth objective benchmarks for entry into NATO, or a timeline.

Of course he is lobbying to be in NATO as it may hasten an end to the war and create security for Ukraine, though at a risk and cost to everyone else. But its not like everyone does not understand why this is unworkable at the moment.

Its just more Fox/Breitbart "let's try to make it look like someone is criticizing Biden, even if we have to exaggerate and even if we do so by omission."

I agree that it gives Putin another incentive to keep fighting. He already has the "don't change horses in the middle of the stream" argument for as long as he can drag this out. NATO isn't going to add Ukraine in the middle of a war though. Russia and Ukraine could eventually be offered a "land for NATO membership and end of hostilities" deal.
