Heard enough of your misguided rambling ********, Junior.
From the article - which clearly you didn't read - the author states:
"Visiting the Maidan on December 5, she [the US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Nuland] handed out cookies to demonstrators and expressed support for their cause."
GOOD LORD! She handed out cookies!?!?!? Putin should have launched the nukes immediately.
The author goes on to state:
"It was startling to have diplomatic representatives of a foreign country—and a country that routinely touts the need to respect democratic processes and the sovereignty of other nations—to be scheming about removing an elected government and replacing it with officials meriting U.S. approval."
The author then cites 'proof' that United States' representatives were 'scheming' since they spoke to one another on a *private phone call* about whom they opined would serve as a better President of Ukraine.
Finally, the author concludes:
"The Nuland‐Pyatt telephone conversation and other actions confirm that the United States was considerably more than a passive observer to the turbulence. Instead, U.S. officials were blatantly meddling in Ukraine."
Private phone conversations between United States Government officials = "BLATENT MEDDLING". Got it.
and
"It is no wonder that Russia reacted badly to the unconstitutional ouster of an elected, pro‐Russian government—an ouster that occurred not only with Washington’s blessing, but apparently with its assistance."
"Apparently?!?!" So the author doesn't actually believe or provide proof of ACTUAL assistance. Oops!
So help us all understand... when you stated in your prior posts that:
"We helped push out the old regime in 2014 and installed who we wanted."
Was it (1) the cookies; or (2) was it the the two Americans talking to one another about who they thought would be a better President that actually overthrew Yanukovych and installed Yatsenyuk?
