War in Ukraine

Putin the bad actor? Really?

the Minsk ceasefires, why was there a ceasefire if not for Putin being a bad actor?

And that's exactly what a ceasefire is, its a time for build up. No one, in the history of ever, has just come to a complete stop during a ceasefire. its not unheard of for their still to be casualty events during ceasefires historically.

Clearly Putin used it as a pretext to build up for the full blown invasion of Ukraine.

Running out of ladas I guess. I guess the potato runs about as well as a lada, so not much difference.

Zelensky threatening unrest in countries supporting Ukraine if weapons flow slows down/stops.

Curtailing aid to Ukraine will only prolong the war, Mr Zelensky argues. And it would create risks for the West in its own backyard. There is no way of predicting how the millions of Ukrainian refugees in European countries would react to their country being abandoned.

Ukrainians have generally "behaved well" and are "very grateful" to those who sheltered them. They will not forget that generosity. But it would not be a "good story" for Europe if it were to "drive these people into a corner".

You do know Ras that this is not consistent with your narrative that regular Ukrainians don't want this war and are fine with just being Russian, but it's the Americans that are calling the shots and forcing Ukrainians to die in America's proxy war with Russia.

Your new story is that Ukrainians have agency and are making demands of the west, while the prior story was that they lacked agency and were being used as pawns.

lol, you will stretch to anything. its amazing that you are desperate as a man leading his country against an invasion.

they are refugees, I doubt they are willing to fight for their country after they left it.

Maybe it can get airplane parts from North Korea?

I watched the last 15-20 min of a Russian special flight from Moscow to Vladivostok on flight radar last night. It landed safely in Vladivostok ... unfortunately. May have been Pootin's plane.

I have to say, I was doubtful about the tires when they first showed up, but now its pretty clear its real.

Looks like a perfect match for a firebombing drone. Imagine something resembling napalm or white phosphorus or both dropping down and igniting tires covering a plane. Tire covered planes looks like one of the dumbest plans yet.
