War in Ukraine

Why is there so much Twitter chatter this week about the bridge? What's the new development, if there is one?
I don't get why Ukraine doesn't send a plethora of dummy drones for days on end to deplete Russia's air defenses and then go in with the real thing.

I'm aware and I'm not sure I believe it but...... If Putin were to lose his grip, where could he turn? He would be targeted by his own. He would need a landing spot.
China would love to have someone in their pocket. being land locked makes that a little more difficult.

China are shrewed and practical people, he offers China nothing of value.
land locked, no. but China would absolutely love to have a patsy near Europe they could operate out of with almost impunity. probably make it a lot easier for them to trick the markets to think its not a Chinese made product if it comes out of Belarus.

Whispers about Putins Belarusian puppet reaching out via back channels as well...... Not sure if I believe those rumors though. He's a hard-line Putin pumper.

Maybe nothing new but seen couple reports yesterday of Belarus equipment on the Ukrainian border showing up with letter “B” on them.

I saw that, he's only going what Putin asks....... But could he be hedging his bets too?

Who knows.

Russian economy is heavily dependent on oil exports is it not?

Are these storage for reserves or storage for export oil?

Either way this has to be extremely costly for Russia, his is their economy reacting to these latest attacks?

Where's the cry from the leftist about the ecological damage being done?
Doesn't make a difference. It's not like the oil was going to go unused. It would have been burnt here or in thousands of engines around the world. At least here, the pollution mainly falls in Russia.

but it would have been used. typically in something that helps humans out. now it is just pure waste helping no one. and its not like the fires are completely contained.

Better to have controlled burn with exhaust treatment, of varying degrees, than an open uncontrolled burn.
