Yes. Once this one is over pull up the receipts and shred the Budapest Memorandum and tell Ukraine and Europe that Europe is a Europe problem. We shouldn’t be this deep in this one but we stuck our nose in it in 1994 and made it our problem. We just thought we’d never have to pay the bill because we didn’t think it would come due. So let’s not make another silly as protection agreement half way around the world that we don’t think will come due. I'm going to be honest here, if you are Russia you have to seriously consider not even accepting an unconditional surrender. (which is what I've been saying could happen for quite so time) The U.S. can't fix what it helped create at this point.

1. Arming Ukraine with every weapon that they could functionally deploy short of nuclear weapons, and put zero restrictions on their usage as long as they are firing at military targets.

2. End all entry to the US or EU from Russian nationals, except diplomats and staff to the UN.

3. Close all Russian embassies in the US and the EU except for one in Washington D.C and Brussels, and limit them to bare minimum staff.

4. Sanction all Russian fossil fuel products, and secondary sanction any shipping company transporting, and any company selling those products.

Putin only understands force, he's not going to just "quit" as there are no domestic repercussions for him to continue to send men and materials to be destroyed in Ukraine.

These things should have been done back in 2014. Obama/Merkel/Sarkozy dropped the ball, and that's how we got the 2022 escalation.
