War in Ukraine

It's never been an "open an unlimited piggy bank", and you know this. If we'd given them all the weapons they'd asked for, in in the quantities they needed, the war would be over and Russia would have left like they did Chechnya the fist time they invaded.

You guys always trot out nonsense and outright falsities to justify Trump catering to Putin's desires, under the guise of "peace" and faux concern for Ukrainians, because in reality, you have zero legitimate grounds to base your support of Russia on, other than, "Trump does, so I do."

MAGA is the epitome of "sheeple".

Lol. They can’t even account for the s*** we’ve already gave them. Why should we GIVE them anything? Do you think Biden did them any favors without nothing in return, particularly for his crackhead son?

Nice pivot.

Blame everything negative happening during the Biden administration on Biden, even thought inflation started under Trump.
Then, turn around and blame economic conditions under Trump on the previous administration.

Yep. Sounds about right in the knucklehead way of thinking.
Pivot?

Inflation did go up with Trump, high as 2.9%. Mind telling me what the peak was under Biden?

Now it’s going back down. Weird.

BINGO!!!

Pay attention today to who defends Zelenskyy and who defends America
I'm defending neither. America is not in the right here. What happened today probably had to happen, but the way it happened is a further stain on our foreign policy/diplomacy.

There was some leverage, but we've sceded it away. We owed Ukraine the dignity to try and broker the best deal we could for them Russia could accept.

If LSU-SIU is correct and we led them to this point then he should be twice ashamed because we just stabbed them in the back again instead of honestly trying to broker a deal.

Tariffs threats, on and off and on again, wildly all over the place; aimless layoffs, sometimes reversed; and over uncertainty at Trump's mercurial tendency to chase the newest bright shiny object that comes into view, are causing consumer and investor confidence to plummet. The figures from sentiment measures just the last 45 days prove that conclusively.

Trump did the exact right thing....Trump wants peace while others do not.

Trump is being honest.
> he (midget) has no plan... he really never had a plan
> they really have nothing to work with
> he's running out of meat (vance said that)
> everyday they lose more... best time for a deal is soon
> endless money doesn't help and the U.S. loses
> we need the killing to stop

When the midget said they would never sign another deal, well, what is there to talk about... the weather?

Trump is being honest and he is right, but the Europeans and the midget need the war to continue. (the problem and something I spoke about for a year, is there is no easy offramp... the neocons set it up perfectly, imo)

Its a European problem but they won't solve it.... so they're next.

Yeah, it's hard to keep track of weapons once you send them into battle in a warzone, and get used and destroyed, and transferred amongst combat units. Can't imagine why the accounting isn't priority #1.

We had divisions from 3 different government agencies tracking aid sent to Ukraine before Trump fired the inspector general of USAID.

So if it goes back up after trending down, then it is Trump's fault right, because he was controlling it (aka it was going down) and if it reverses, then he is still controlling it, just in the wrong direction?

Let's just consider all that true:

But this ambush for show meeting is an absolute stab in the back. It's bad business.

Man, wild times for America and diplomacy. I agree with some of the things said, but to do it in front of the press like that...Brutal. I guess if we (America) are ready to go it alone for awhile, we should be good to go.

We'll have to agree to disagree. I actually think its very helpful, although he has said it before, the midget said (at least to me) that they would never sign another deal with Russia. That is what imo kind of lead to it, he simply was trying to strong arm them, and that isn't the place to do it. (maybe we have a different perspective 👍👍)

I think it did look like he was getting ganged up on because of the reporter and the suit thing but the guy is not okay at all.

He is saying there will never be an agreement, cool, we're out as far as it all if it was me. It's simply not our problem.

At this point, all the U.S. can do if they want the conflict to stop is to take him out or sanction the country complete isolation to speed up the fall. OR just let it naturally work itself out.

What happens to the economy under a President belongs to him. So any changes from 2025 until 2029 will belong to Trump.

My argument is, the economy is miles better today than 2-3 years ago. But now Economists are screeching about a recession. It would seem the ones sounding the alarm may have an agenda. Because if the alarm wasn’t sounding 2 years ago it never should.

All indicators are pointing favorably except threats of tariffs and some government employees losing their jobs. Mind you those employees had the option to get paid and ample time to find a different job.

Inflation has dropped, forecasted inflation is stagnant, yet the Feds will not cut rates. One was expected in March, it is believed that won’t happen.

Is this the moment the US lost leadership of the free world. Remarkable. This was the moment that everyone knew for sure they could no longer count on us. I am ashamed.

"And say thank you for all the weapons we gave you."

"I have. Many times."

"No, now. Like a performing monkey. Hey! dOn'T dIsReSpEcT uS!"

Honestly, it was like watching two bullies gang up on a schoolkid. Except worse because they're both grown men and the schoolkid in question was the hero who's been holding back the entire might of Russia - and then some - from taking his country and then others for four straight years now.
