Yeah, it's hard to keep track of weapons once you send them into battle in a warzone, and get used and destroyed, and transferred amongst combat units. Can't imagine why the accounting isn't priority #1.
We had divisions from 3 different government agencies tracking aid sent to Ukraine before Trump fired the inspector general of USAID.
Seems hard to believe all of the government cutting (contracts, employees, etc), tariffs, and uncertainty will not have an effect on the economy, but we will just have to see. Pres. Trump is moving a lot of levers at once so it would be hard to predict the effect. I hope it is all for the good even long term, but it sure seems like he is setting us up for short term pain at least. What happens to the economy under a President belongs to him. So any changes from 2025 until 2029 will belong to Trump.
My argument is, the economy is miles better today than 2-3 years ago. But now Economists are screeching about a recession. It would seem the ones sounding the alarm may have an agenda. Because if the alarm wasn’t sounding 2 years ago it never should.
All indicators are pointing favorably except threats of tariffs and some government employees losing their jobs. Mind you those employees had the option to get paid and ample time to find a different job.
Inflation has dropped, forecasted inflation is stagnant, yet the Feds will not cut rates. One was expected in March, it is believed that won’t happen.
Hero? Lol give me a break. He is far from that. He’s an arrogant moochIs this the moment the US lost leadership of the free world. Remarkable. This was the moment that everyone knew for sure they could no longer count on us. I am ashamed.
"And say thank you for all the weapons we gave you."
"I have. Many times."
"No, now. Like a performing monkey. Hey! dOn'T dIsReSpEcT uS!"
Honestly, it was like watching two bullies gang up on a schoolkid. Except worse because they're both grown men and the schoolkid in question was the hero who's been holding back the entire might of Russia - and then some - from taking his country and then others for four straight years now.
A completely irrelevant tangent. THEY AREN'T WINNING NO MATTER WHAT WE WASTE SENDING THEM. They can’t account for what we’ve already sent, but still, keep sending them more limitless s*** that’s going to yield the same result.
"Kyiv in 3 days", Ukraine still exists, 3 years later.
Why doesn't MAGA call on Putin to stop waging war, with the same fervence that it calls upon Ukraine to surrender?
Is it just run-of-the-mill cowardice?
If it's not up to us then why is MAGA screaming for Ukraine to surrender, rather than screaming at Putin to stop waging the war that he started?
