War in Ukraine

You have a complete and willful denial of all of the times Trump has denigrated Rubio and his professional abilities, and Rubio's 180 MAGA flip flop on Ukraine.
I know Trump and Rubio have had disagreements in the past, the issue was the way Rubio was sitting on the couch that was misread.

you can call it bullying or whatever you want, but Z was shown the reality of who is running the show.....and it's not Z
No, he was put on display all alone to be insulted and humiliated. That's how cowards act and the guy badgering him about the suit is just that.

It's how they treat everyone not in DC, even the American people

They knew he is not the person for this, they really didn't even want him to come.

The good news, they got out of him where he said he would never agree to terms with Russia, so... if that is the case what is all these people sitting around for? They can lose the war on their own just as easily as us giving him money.

Z started it......go back and watch the video and listen to what Vance said. Z cannot come into and disrepect the oval office and think he calls the shots.

If Z had any sense he would have said very little and just smiled at the cameras and he and Trump could have hashed it out in private but no Z had to run his mouth off.

Trump's suits look off-the-rack terrible. Anyone seeing a suit as a requirement seems like a clown
If I had to guess, Trump suit was most likely tailored fitted and cost a few grand.

Those that show disrespect are the clowns. When Z goes onto someone else's house he better show respect.

Nobody should be surprised by this, it was coming. Its fine if the midget wants to fight to last ukrainian (whether they want to or not) but you don't come in there and do that to that group. Suicidal.

Fitted? I could grab a better fitting one at Belk. He's always looked frumpy, especially for a billionaire

If one truly wants peace (soon) in Ukraine, this is the way it had to happen.

Had to tell the military authority of Ukraine that they can't win.
Had to tell him they would have lost already without our arms.
Had to tell him that we weren't going to continue to provide arms indefinitely.

It is ok to be anti-Russia without being pro-Ukraine. Neither of them are our friend.

You won't convince me the US has not communicated privately to Z that they want him to pursue a peace agreement with Russia.

Zelensky thought he could outmaneuver this administration by publicly using his seat in the Oval to push for what he wants. I don't blame him for trying; he would have gotten away with it with any of our last few decades of leadership.

Zelensky also thought he could control the flow of weapons to his country without having to make any concessions towards peace.

He was wrong on both his strategies.

This was either a huge step towards Ukraine negotiating in good faith for peace, or it is a huge step towards Europe taking a much, much larger role in their own defense. Because Europe is incapable of the latter, I suspect it will be former, and likely relatively soon.
Not a bad analysis.

And why wouldn't Europe be capable of the latter? Their rich, have multiple nuclear powers, and it's in their personal interest to step up if the US won't. Europe's not stupid enough to allow Russia to run roughshod over Ukraine. If the US bows out as world police, Europe will fill in the vacuum. US will lose it's hegemony in Europe (which seems to be already happening).
