The sad truth is that we don’t know what to do when our government’s honor system is abused to the point of an impending autocracy. 2A was designed when the populace and military were equally matched in arms. 2A doesn’t mean **** to a tank or drones. The military is split, as well as law enforcement in general. We likely need outside assistance, but we’re burning bridges left and right, so it’s anyone’s guess at the future.

The best we can do is hold fast and keep being loud. Be nonviolent, but refresh yourself on the civil rights movements of our past. We need to do the same. ***************, sit-ins, protests, and strike however you’re able to. If not, find your community and protect the vulnerable.

I'm not a Trump supporter but hasn't the schtick from the left, possibly even you that trump was just a reactionary bully, that he isn't capable of thinking through complexities etc?

So now he's a master baiter?

I'm not convinced this was staged, but I'd say is possible. I think it a little more likely that Trump was counting on a quick deal with signatures but Zelenski balked and the rest was just frustration from both sides

I also believe it a bad idea to have that due down with cameras if a deal hadn't been agreed to.

I appreciate the Dems posting on social media about their outrage, but I’d much rather they DO something about it.

The republicans are not going to play by the rules and Dems need to stop trying to give them a stern talking to and actually work to find a way to get rid of the Pootin puppets.

Trump and conservative mainstream US media are leaving one BIG thing out: All those 'resources' are in the Donbas region. AKA: The area Russia now occupies, the area Trump is pressuring Zelenskyy to surrender to Russia as part of the 'deal'.

Then theres the rest of what Russia demands. Which is: putting their own politicians in Ukraines government, Surrendering the Donbas to them, and giving Ukraine no security guarantees.

Anyone with any inkling of critical thinking can put those facts together and see what it is Vance and Trump were doing. It wasn't a 'resource deal' it was a complete surrender to Russia under the guise of being a resource deal. Ukraine doesn't presently occupy the Donbas,(where the bulk of the resources are) so there was no deal to be made with anyone other than Russia.

The Ukraine doesn't have to agree with anything, matter of fact, based on what they have been saying their never will be an agreement if it involves the Russians.

It sounds like the Ukrainians got this, they apparently don't need help.
