War in Ukraine

Ukraine is going to win this war.

Slow down. Only a few days in and a long way to go. Could be promising that Putin has now said he’s open to talks, though. Hopefully he’s figuring out he miscalculated the international response to his actions, Ukraine’s resolve and is starting to reconsider the prospect of needing to save face.

He SURVIVED: Shocking moment elderly Ukrainian driver is pulled ALIVE from crushed car after 'barbaric' Russian troops DELIBERATELY swerved tank to drive over his car

  • Video shows the shocking moment a Russian tank runs over the car of a civilian
An elderly Ukrainian driver was filmed being pulled alive from his crushed car after Russian troops deliberately swerved their tank and drove on top of him.

The Russian tank could be seen swerving towards the vehicle driving across several lanes in order to reach the car.

Incredibly, the elderly driver was still alive and pulled free from the wreckage

Super complicated and messy situation, that.

The Russian Court for a few centuries were actually ethnic Germans, unlike the people they ruled. Their constant marrying out back to the fatherland kept them involved in conflicts they really had no place in.

Actual Russians haven't been running Russia all that long on the grand scheme of things, just a little over 100 years in this most current stretch.

Basically Russia was (maybe still is) a land of mindless thugs. When they decided to move into the 19th century all signs of intelligence had to be imported from places like Germany and France. Putin seems to be a throwback to the old model before the age of enlightenment in Russia.

Occupations don't work. I previously questioned whether the Ukrainians would stand and fight. They will. To the death.

Plus the entire free world is giving them the materiel and other support they need to win.

Putin will lose this one. Badly.

Ukraine is going to win this war.
We had 585,000 solders in South Vietnam with advanced equipment and 100% control of the sky and could not defeat a determined insurgency. Russia does have the advantage of being right next door but Ukraine can win if they can hold out past the initial surge and employ the same tactics the VC and NVA used against us. The key is going to be for the West to keep the arms flowing.

Sure hope so. Hope that military hardware gets to them ASAP.

Agreed. Both us and Russians lost in insurgencies against the Afghans, as well.

WHAT is happening?

Where are you all getting this information??
I've been watching BBC, AL Jazeera', Gravitas and all the Ameican News companies and I'm not getting anything really definitive.

I had no idea Russia was struggling with this...
Just search social media that is coming out of Ukraine.
