Forgive my ignorance, but does Ukraine really have no planes capable of hitting the line of ducks on the road? It doesn't sound like Russia has control of the skies...

Not gonna happen w planes or drones, at least. Russian anti Air defense is brutal. If Ukraine has any HIMARS systems, now would be the time to use them.

I don’t know if it’s how the war is actually going or something different but everything I see is about how great the Ukrainians are doing and how terrible the Russians are doing . I would like to believe that a small country is holding off the entire military of mother Russia , but I’m having a hard time making it all make sense numbers wise . In your opinion, what do you think was the reasoning behind the decision of calling any deal that prohibits Ukraine from NATO as a "nonstarter"? Why were they (whoever "they" are) so adamant about that? Was it just hubris and ego? Ignorance? Or just part of geopolitical? gamesmanship?

Because that would be letting Russia decide another country’s sovereignty. Russia won’t even let them join the EU or have a government that isn’t pro Russia. Ridiculous.

I suspect you’ll try to counter with whataboutism, so I’ll just say that isn’t a valid argument.
