Its because Russia is extremally inept, corrupt, and the "boogieman" of Europe and third world sh!tholes everywhere. Its not shocking they couldn't roll Ukraine in less than a week. Good thing for PedoJoe since it gives his Alzheimer's addled mind time to possibly comprehend what he has allowed to happen.Yeah its weird after seeing years of the "seemingly standard" process of
1. own the skies,
2. tactical bombing until there are no visible military targets left
3. drones supporting heavy armor to punch forward to a defendable space, followed closely by
4. drones supporting infantry to secure some sort of temporary firebase/FOB and establish comms and area control with artillery
5. secure your backward supply line and logistic chain
6. repeat steps 3-5
it's hard to figure out what the hell the Russians are doing. You have infantry without armor support. They have drones but it doesnt seem they are using them effectively. I am no military tactician but it seems like a real cluster, even though they have a far superior force and the overall strategic plan seemed ok. Not that our own military doesnt have a ton of problems but they always have had a (rightful) focus on logistics so that even a small group of warfighters can have magnified effectiveness. I guess it is easy to take basic competence for granted after our country was basically at war in 2 theaters for almost 20 years.
Yep.Basically, you're seeing what equals a lie about Russia being America's greatest threat. It should've been easy to see as they are just too poor as a country. When you hear a politician claim this and not say truthfully that China is our greatest threat, they are stupid or they're lying.
Know a lot of Russian leadership do you? The reasons behind this war is reported by the same media that lies to us constantly….. that being said I am 100% against this Russian invasion and the tragedies the Ukrainian citizens are facing…. I just don’t like the media spreading misinformation.Russians are killing people for no damn reason. There is the story. Does that story conflict with this?
You can hear Putin’s justifications for the invasion. He has said them out loud. They are, indisputably, batshit crazy. Unless you think the Russian translators are lying lol.Know a lot of Russian leadership do you? No, they do have a reason - they are at war - war is often about killing people. I do not like it. I do not want them to win but it does not help to deny reality.
Same thing with propaganda. When fake stories and pictures are pushed as narrative, even if I like those stories - it makes me doubt the truthfulness of other things I hear. You have to be clear-eyed about these things and all sides are telling lies because they want to win. I may not mind the side I am supporting telling lies but it doesn't mean I should not want to know for myself which ones are true.
In this case, however, I don't really have a dog in the fight. I would be more loudly cheering Russia's failure if I didn't perceive that the only one who will likely profit from it is the Chinese, our true rivals. It certainly won't be chocolate chip Joe and Kamala.
My only point was that I don’t want media lying to us bc it causes me to question everything….. That goes beyond this war…..You can hear Putin’s justifications for the invasion. He has said them out loud. They are, indisputably, batshit crazy. Unless you think the Russian translators are lying lol.
We are the most benevolent super power this world has ever seen. I am sick of the self loathing. I love the USA..at least until it goes full woke/socialist/commie.

It’s like they ignored the two previous successful conventional wars in Iraq. It doesn’t take a military genius to understand the process.Yeah its weird after seeing years of the "seemingly standard" process of

We've consistently supported complete scumbags. We are not always the good guys like we enjoy believing. That is not self loathing, mainly because I didn't have crap to do with the decisions, but it is realism.
Are we talking about Fiona Apple or Hill? For you people arguing about Putin and his motivations for the war you need to read the Fiona Apple article that someone posted earlier. She knows him like few people do. She knows people who have been following Putin since he was Vice-Mayor of St. Petersburg.
Meanwhile, I'm no Microsoft fan (since I didn't get in on the ground floor) but you need to read this. I'm glad they're on our side.
As the tanks rolled into Ukraine, so did Malware; Then Microsoft entered the war
