The European Parliament voted on Tuesday to accept Ukraine’s application to join the European Union (EU) after Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky gave a passionate speech before the body.

Zelensky formally signed an application to join the European Union on an expedited basis on Monday after making repeated to calls to allow his country to join the bloc. Zelensky’s calls have received vocal support from some already in the bloc, including the countries of Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, and Slovenia.

As war in Ukraine continues, a puppy rescued by Ukrainian soldiers is being called their guardian and protector.

“He is our security. That is his job,” one of the soldiers said in the video posted by FreedomNewsTV. “He can hear very well if there is a stranger nearby.”

Rambo is not alone, with the soldiers also caring for a few other dogs.

2. You criticized the idea of fighting as an untrained mercenary as if it’s a crazy and absurd idea, yet a massive portion of their current force falls in that exact category. They’ve been openly arming citizens and teaching them to make Molotov cocktails.

3. For no reason whatsoever you brought up the idea that I had never been to Afghanistan (I have no clue what that had to do with anything) and were also wrong.

In a video posted on Friday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that he and his government were still in Kyiv, with the people of Ukraine, and called for everyone able to take up arms to defend the country — even Ukrainians abroad and foreigners.
