Did we overthrow them or did the people want democracy, free of Russian influence? Because that's what this looks like to me. Are we running these countries under threat of force or is it the opposite?

The US coordinated the coup in Ukraine in 2013 and 2014. This is not even a disputed opinion anymore but an understood fact. Lets stop pretending otherwise.

Ok, I need to know who it is you think is running Ukraine? Seems to me Ukraine is. One side is wrapping themselves in being Ukrainian and the other is resorting to calling them drug addicts and Nazi's to justify indiscriminate killing. You tell me who's on the right side of history?

Many of us agree with you on some or most of the nation building stuff. You have been full throated against it. You have been, at best, moderately concerned by what Putin is doing. You are a hypocrite. A fraud. And probably not sane. Get some help

And Many of us have spoken out against the U.S. and its attempted nation building. So if we oppose our own country pulling that ****, why would we support Putin doing it? And when our country does it, we don't generally indiscriminately kill people. I still think it's wrong, but we don't go in looking to slaughter innocents. If you haven't seen many of us on here criticize our own government, then you've willfully chosen not to see it.

A coup was assisted because there was a need.....a want within Ukraine. A puppet of Russia was replaced with one friendlier and beholden to the west. Fast forward many years later and democracy has taken hold. It was so successful Putin was afraid it might spread. So he had to kill a bunch of people to destroy it.

Yet you still don't see the very different way in which each side handled the situation..... Because given real choice people will choose self determination and rebuke authoritarian government almost every time.

This is the kind of shite the left and right lost their mind over? That spawned "act of war" talk from the left and "attacked our republic from the right"? It's laughable and we looked ridiculous as a nation for not laughing it off.
