War in Ukraine

What does that have to do with the sovereignty of a foreign nation?
Not much when it comes to sovereignty apparently. But with regards to what is our business, America has a Monroe Doctrine that we have used in our region to destabilize countries. But when Russia or China show a desire to have this same regional power, we want to act outraged.

They've wanted a war no matter how many Ukrainian lives they put in jeopardy. America will fight right down the last Ukrainian if they had their way.
Russia is asking for the war here, remember you telling us it was America that was war mongering and that Russia was just running military exercises? Turns out the "war mongerers" were just telling us in real time what the Intel (and common sense for Christ's sake) was telling us........ Russia wants it's former borders, but they don't want him......... So he'll just kill them.

And it won't stop at Ukraine, that is clear to anyone paying attention. If you're going to try and convince us that isn't the end game please, just save it. You've been wrong too much on this topic for me to put any stock in your stance on this.

When it doesn't go our way do we raise cities and punish it's civilians with death and total destruction? When we do I'll take up arms against my country, not make excuses for them.

Over the last 8 years, I've been on the right side of the truth more than most people in here on this topic.

How much of this is sensationalism and how much really reaches the level of outrage that even surpasses what the US has done in the past? Obviously, there are Ukrainian casualties, but lets not get propagandized about this, either.

Those pesky photos of blocks reduced to rubble and burnt out shells....... Damn that propoganda tricking my brain into thinking it's a reality.

So they are no better than us, and since you take such huge exceptions to what we do, that must mean you take huge exceptions when others do it too?

Ever heard of Dresden, Hamburg, Cologne, Berlin?
Sure. My comments were in response to this post.....
"Vietnam vs. USA, Afghans vs USSR, Afghans vs USA"

I said something to the effect of "we were not willing to kill tens of thousands on innocent citizens and bomb entire cities into oblivion".

But had we been willing, we certainly had the means to do so. WWII is a great example of when we were willing - maybe even justifiably so.

Which cities have we raised because a puppet we put in place didn't stick? Google didn't return any results for me.
That wasn’t your first question. As for the rest if you’re so inclined, you could pick up almost any ww2 history book, review a few pages back of this thread and/or Google.

Biden is getting destroyed in polling so they are probably hoping a war helps him gain some ground.
Which is yet another source of concern. This gives the media an opportunity to try to salvage what they can to get Biden something in the win column.
