I can't believe that you are just now being introduced to Victoria Nuland. In case this is the case, listen to this leaked phone call between her and Geoffrey Pyatt 2 weeks before the Yanukovich regime was overthrown in 2014. It is clear to anyone that has 2 brain cells and an ounce of honesty and integrity that this is clear evidence of the US State Department coordinating the coup and establishing the next puppet leaders.

She was not in the bureau I typically worked with so never really ran into her. I had many meetings with Ass. Sec States over the years and once in awhile an Undersecretary. Yeah, thats pretty much how the meetings sound like, though they were much more cagey in the ones I where I had an "external representative" with me.

I mean, to some degree that is their job - to meddle in a way that American interests are benefitted. Like I have said before, I have participated in some of this meddling (I am still asked to from time to time but my Galadriel has made me promise to largely swear off such things) and I have no issues with it really as long as it is good for the USA.

The problem is, I have seen a lot that makes me significantly doubt that is what they are going for anymore. Incompetence, inaction, indecision and risk aversion I am used to and can deal with but to start with the premise that we need to take the USA down a notch while you are actually working in its government is something I just cant abide by. It makes it difficult to talk to old friends.

I dont like or trust Oliver Stone any more than I can throw him but I am starting to watch this and it is interesting - the intro is very worth it Whether you agree with this or not (and I have not finished watching it), it has a lot of great history and it gives a lot of background of all the players.

I am going to assume this is a Russian-funded propaganda piece they hired Stone to do since it tweaks the USA - but still, I think it is worth watching as it is a serious production and is outside of today's media cycle. I have a feeling, that if you watch this, you will at least understand why Ras thinks what he does.

It was revealed Wednesday that YouTube had placed a warning on the 2016 documentary Ukraine on Fire by executive producer Oliver Stone. Video streaming platform Rumble then announced that the producers had uploaded the film to its site.

"BREAKING NEWS: YouTube removed @TheOliverStone's documentary, 'Ukraine on Fire.' We believe the public should decide what it sees, not Google execs. We're proud to announce the producers uploaded the film to Rumble, enabling anyone who wishes to view it," Rumble tweeted.

On YouTube, when a user clicks on the film via the production company Global Tree Pictures's channel, the screen goes black and displays an inappropriate content warning. Viewers can still watch it, however, by clicking that they wish to proceed.

As Russia ramps up atrocities and the world doesn't take steps to intervene (I'm not recommending military intervention BTW) I can see "origin stories" for any number of action/graphic novel characters who seek revenge on those who stood by and watched them suffer.
