If China overtly supports Russia with war materiel, the US and all the West then face the prospect of what... now boycotting Chinese goods, services, etc.? Plus doing so would have huge economic consequences worldwide, and such action would seemingly effectively tighten the bond between Russia and China.

Just not good.

Our diplomats need to be spot-on in how they handle this potential cluster.

If China provides material support to Russia for the war you are correct it will not be good and we will be put into a position we don't want to be in.

Wait until the government can't buy a chip that it needs to keep aircraft flying or tanks running because they come from China. The supply of cars is already about 25% of what it should be because of China.
