War in Ukraine

It's mostly women, children and elderly being relocated by people who care for them and has nothing to do with allegiance to Russia.

But the U.S. does have moral high ground and is a clearly superior nation by any measure to Russia. Russia has gone from backwater to outhouse. 11th largest economy but with a per capita GDP of $10.1K. With Russia's natural resources, they should nearly autopilot to affluence. Putin and people like him are the problem, not Ukraine aspiring to a Western construct of society.

You can no more speak for what Russians want than Ukrainians you project onto. Russian people have been underwater so long they don't know what being dry feels like. Ask Russians HERE or any Western nation if they'd prefer Putin; at minimum you'll be laughed at.

It can get so much better than Putin, too, as Western society - and Russian feet - attest.

Russians speak for themselves through elections and polling. No, the US has no moral high ground after the last 30 years.

Ukraine isnt a victim. They picked a fight with a bigger dog and now their midget leader is going around the world begging any Nation dumb enough to help them.

Yes, Ukraine should roll over and accept the reasonable ceasefire offered them by a for that has the ability to completely destroy them or quit whining about civilian losses.

But that isnt the end of the story is it? They have IMF loans now. They owe the west allegiance and Western leaders arent fazed by civilian casualties.

You're confident stupidity is amusing.

I'm surprised you took Putins c**k out of your mouth long enough to type that.

Both countries are trash. Sorry if that hurts anyone's feelings. Both are totally corrupt. Now, if Ukraine keeps killing Russians at an alarming rate then will you see it the same way? just curious.

It never had to get to this point. If cooler heads would have prevailed, the Ukrainians would have abided by the Minsk II ceasefire agreements instead of letting the US put a battery in their backs and being hardliners and breaking the terms.

PICTURED: American lecturer, 67, is shot dead by Russian Snipers as he Waited in Bread Line in Chernihiv: Family reveals he stayed in Ukraine to care for sick partner

The American citizen killed in Ukraine yesterday has been named as Jimmy Hill, a 67-year-old from Idaho who had stayed in the warzone to look after his sick partner and was gunned down lining up to buy bread.

Hill's family named him on Facebook on Thursday after Secretary of State Antony Blinken confirmed the death of a US citizen at a press conference.

Hill was a lecturer in Kyiv but was in Chernihiv to care for his partner Ira, who has multiple sclerosis. They had returned to the country in December so Ira, who is Ukrainian, could be treated for MS, and became trapped at a regional hospital there.

Friends said the pair were a couple and that he died caring for the woman he loves. He is understood to have one adult son from a previous relationship.

On Monday, Hill was among a group of 10 who were lining up to buy bread at a grocery store when Russian troops opened fire in a sickening act of war.

I'm not sure they do in an autocratic state. But you don't extend that same appraisal to Ukrainians electing Zelensky and fighting Russia; why is that?
You mean the last 30 years since the Soviet Union fell. Do you share Putin's view that it was the catastrophe of the century?

Yeah kind of. It could have been avoided......for a while. Now, do you think that with all things considered that Putin would have just stayed pat?

I don't see anyone in Syria angry about Assad's leadership.
You serious Clark? The only thing keeping him in power was his use of the military against his people and chemical weapons, they were coming for him. If they were happy why the appeal to Putin to prop him up?

Not likely. Not necessarily needing to invade, but with a country that important on Russia's border, I think there is always going to be some interaction going on.

No different than the US being heavily involved in our neighbors political affairs.

He didn't use chemical weapons on his people. Stop saying that. It has been debunked by several different sources and investigators.
