If Belarus goes in more than limited support as they have thus far it will be a significant escalation. Putin knows this, and knows the Polish won't take kindly.

IMO this is a pretty good indicator Putin is not comfortable with how things are going and is willing to risk it. It's a foolish move and could very well get us all killed. But he's committed at this point and there is no return, he has to move forward. He's not nearly as smart as I once believed.

They really don't. I've changed my mind and entertained opposing views to my own quite a bit. I have seen nothing thus far, regarding Ukraine/Russia, to change my view of the topic. Those with the opposite view, to this point, have been wrong in their reporting and on the ground results contradict them.

Allies hell, we should have equipped the remaining German soldiers pointed them east and provided air support. They could have done the bleeding for us.

You can see the truth right now if you aren't in an emotional blind rage.

I'm had breathed a sigh of relief after seeing these mendacity of the left starting to lose momentum around COVID, and now this conflict is being supported by many on the right to lock us into conflict that could plunge us into the end of humanity. They would take a hardline and avoid diplomatic solutions if it means giving an inch to anyone that opposes them.

I am a conservative and I will refute her. I don’t see how you can accuse Ukraine of „poking the bear“ when for the past eight years have seen Russian forces in Ukrainian territory and absolutely zero Ukrainian forces in Russia over the same period. It is about as disingenuous as suggesting that Poland kept poking the German bear in 1939.

The US orchestrated the coup in 2014 and the heavily Russian republics refused to follow that illegitimate govt and chose to breakaway. Fir making that choice, the puppet Ukrainian govt attacked them for 8 years and violated the ceasefire agreements.
