I'd be happy nothing came of it. That it was a massive bluff. I mean his actions make no sense. What clear and present danger does Ukraine present here? Why the need for this show of force? There is no other force he's facing off with other than a small countries defense force. So, with all of this build up and talk of a Russian invasion, what will be the talking points or reasoning you all give if we are sitting here in May and nothing has happened?
Oh, I see... so this is going to be the new narrative if there is no invasion. If they do it I think they do it with a frozen ground. Definitely prior to spring thaw.
It’s entirely possible that the response to keep the ******* in check have been strong enough to keep him on his leash for the remainder of this year. Wait till next winter to see what else our idiot in chief has screwed up by then. Hell the way the EU countries are squabbling there could be further fracturing there to wait out. Germany seems more than happy to kiss Putin’s ass

And it will be effective. He rolls up 100k+ troops and is countered by a massive buildup in response and he withdraws. He’s gonna look like a chicken **** that tucked and ran or he’s gonna invade and be ostracized even more than he is now. And he did it to himself. And I cannot wait to see your sack carrying diatribes here supporting him either wayI also don't see a specific gain for cho

So NATO is going to launch an invasion thru Ukraine? Have the talking points provided detail yet on how you should answer that?Ukraine itself poses no danger at all.
But you seem to either ignore or don't understand Russia's concerns. NATO arming and setting up shop in Ukraine is the problem. I'm not sure why this is such a hard concept to understand. It would be no different if Russia moved missiles into Cuba or Mexico.
If that comes to pass, I would be more than grateful that a conflict was averted... not in here trying "carry water" as you would say for anyone. And it will be effective. You’ll be grateful any way it comes out and continue to preach the merits of your man crush Vladimir Putin. If that comes to pass, I would be more than grateful that a conflict was averted... not in here trying "carry water" as you would say for anyone.
We should both consider that a good thing, right?
Oh and I hope the spilled blood of the Ukrainians is minimized but I can’t stress how little I care about Russian spilled blood at this point. In fact a few thousand Russian flag draped coffins coming home might be a catalyst to throw his authoritarian ass out.If that comes to pass, I would be more than grateful that a conflict was averted... not in here trying "carry water" as you would say for anyone.

Now that I'm not sure about. I certainly hope there isn't a real plan out there to launch a future attack from Ukraine. I think deep down, the planners and schemers of this conflict in The West want to bring everything to a rolling boil and hope that they can trigger Russia to attack first... then that would give them the excuse to say that they acted in self-defense. I really think moving into Ukraine is meant to be provoctive. So NATO is going to launch an invasion thru Ukraine? Have the talking points provided detail yet on how you should answer that?

You keep saying expansionist and it is really wanting to maintain a buffer between themselves and NATO nations. I'm fully aware that Putin has verbally mentioned that the collapse of the USSR was a tragedy, but it was said because of the military buffering it allowed and also the added benefit of having these other nations available as trading partners. Before you try and twist it I’m not HOPING for it but I’m absolutely apathetic to any Russian spilled blood as long as they continue this expansionist agenda.
Yes I keep saying expansionist because it is correct. And there is no amount of water carrying you can do to offset that fact. You keep saying expansionist and it is really wanting to maintain a buffer between themselves and NATO nations. But his post was in reply to your post setting up a narrative that was exactly counter to your statement here. In fact based on Crimea and the Eastern Ukraine conflict regions alone there is every right for Ukraine to roll into Russia today with whatever allies they can muster.I don't disagree with that.
