Why would Germany block arms sales to Ukraine from another country?
Factbox: How much does Germany need Russian gas?
Why would Germany block arms sales to Ukraine from another country?
How stupid do you need to be to shutter your own sources of energy and decide that the Russians are a reliable source? Every country that has the technology to build nuclear power plants is dumb AF for not building them right and left.Yup. I get that. To my knowledge they blocked Estonia. Sounds like weaponry and supplies from other countries are coming through. I’m just becoming more and more disappointed in Germany and how quickly they bend the knee.
That scheme wouldn't work if the people living there don't accept them. This is what Russia does (see Georgia), creeping annexation. They issue Russian passports to these separatist areas and then have a built in reason to intervene in the future if they so desire. Also seeing more signs that Russian National Guard (Rosgvardia) are starting to move which is not a good sign.
Or, maybe he has a firm grasp of the situation on the ground over there and maybe it is us that is receiving fabricated information.https://www.washingtonpost.com/nati...r-an-invasion-ukraine-or-whether-he-will-all/
Zelensky is either just not prepared for this moment as a leader or he has his head in the sand and doesn't want to believe either way its not good.
From what I understand, the weapons were either made by Germany or originally belonged to Germany. The only thing I can think of is that they don't want to have any evidence of Germany having any involvement in arming Ukraine. A clear signal that Germany wants to stay out of this mess. Why would Germany block arms sales to Ukraine from another country? Ukraine isn’t asking Germany to fight for them, just to allow them to defend themselves. How the hell is that Germany’s call? Then Germany sends 5,000 helmets? A little obtuse.
They are doing what is in their best interests.Yup. I get that. To my knowledge they blocked Estonia. Sounds like weaponry and supplies from other countries are coming through. I’m just becoming more and more disappointed in Germany and how quickly they bend the knee.
When Russia invades they should lob a volley of those long range missiles into the heart of Moscow. The Pentagon said this morning Russia has moved even more troops to the border this weekend and has sent upwards of 30,000 soldiers into Belarus. One thing I haven't seen mentioned is Ukraine's investment into long range missiles. Right now they do not have the capability to target Russian forces on Russian territory however they are moving towards that capability but it won't be for awhile. So Russia's window to make a move without having a significant amount of destruction on its territory will go down over time, could be another factor.

Just came across this feed and says live. Does the USN have live carrier op footage? Just saw F-35B's taking off the QE2 in the rain and now more tropical climate Nimitz take-offs . Gun Ho vids have always been great but didnt realize live feeds across thew world.

Double Edit: Just a stream not live..duh
