War in Ukraine

Now that I'm not sure about. I certainly hope there isn't a real plan out there to launch a future attack from Ukraine. I think deep down, the planners and schemers of this conflict in The West want to bring everything to a rolling boil and hope that they can trigger Russia to attack first... then that would give them the excuse to say that they acted in self-defense. I really think moving into Ukraine is meant to be provoctive.
Why exactly would NATO want to invade Russia?

NATO likes preparing for a war with Russia. I don't think they actually want to go to war with them. To what end?

The Olympics end Feb 20. The ground will be frozen very solid. My thought is Russia invades Ukraine sometime that week.
Feb 20 is a date that @Burhead threw up on the board too.

I believe he said Belarus & Russia will be concluding “military drills” on that day.

Watch out for provocative actions from the West designed to pull Putin into an unwanted confrontation.

I keep hearing that there was a coup in Ukraine in 2014 election. What evidence is there to base that on? It is my understanding that with the exception of the Donbas and Kharkov (which really have Russian Majorities), most of Ukraine is very anti-Russian and was happy with the 2014 election results.

I still see Putin entering Donbas and claiming it under some pretext about the people wanting to join Russia and there probably is a majority there that would like to leave Ukraine anyways. Ukraine might be better of shedding some off these pro-Russian territories.

That will buy some time, but Russia wants some of her territories back, that's the long game.

Yeah, they will take Donbas then go for Kharkov. After Kharkov, it will be a very tough road for Putin though because the rest of Ukraine has very few people that love Russia and would be hard for him to hold. I think he can get away with claiming Donbas and maybe Kharkov without much opposition among the people, once he gets past those two, he will face sustained guerilla war for anything else.

Interesting and Funny Video about the situation.

That's actually a pretty good way of looking at the situation.

"Look dude - I actually see why you feel the way you do. I might even feel the same way if I was in your situation. But these countries that were once part of the Soviet Union don't really want to be with you anymore, so you need to get over it."

If true (and that's always something to caution when using RT) this could jump start this thing. It was a Ukrainian TB2 drone strike that triggered this second round of buildup and tensions.

If true, Ukraine would be aggressor and we should NOT get involved.

However this is very dubious. Both Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan made up fake attacks to justify their invasions of Poland and China.

Get your laughs in while you can. Make sure they are deep belly laughs that have you on your knees. But meanwhile, I was right back then about Germany and Russia moving closer together economically and got laughed out of the room. I was on top of all of this and have been proven right about the winter 2013/2014 events in Ukraine and I'll be on the right side of this event.
