War in Ukraine

Yep. I’ve got a Colt LE carbine in the gun safe that’s the exact same basic weapon just doesn’t have the full fun option. And mine has the barrel ring to even accept the M203
I’m gonna be fishin the Wolf River this weekend. New magnets and I’m looking to land an M203.

If I catch 2…

So more times than not, we invent these events? I guess Russia has never exhibited such behavior, correct?

The Gulf of Tonkin Resolution says hi as well as Saddam's massive stockpiles of WMD's that had to be dealt with. The rationale for getting into WWI was more than flimsy and the Zimmerman Telegram was dubious at best. Outside of wars that were unavoidable, Revolutionary, Civil War, WW2, and maybe Korea, the US has had a lot of experience at concocting reasons to enter wars.

War of 1812 and Mexican War were unavoidable as well. Civil war was completely avoidable.

There's also this, which thankfully was never executed:

Operation Northwoods - Wikipedia

It's frightening a plan like this was ever created to begin with

What was the flimsy rationale in WW2?

If you can come up with an apples to apples comparison where the Russians have false flagged in order to justify aggression or war more than we have, I would love to see it. I'm by no means saying the USSR hadn't done it, I'm just wanting you to show more examples of Russia under Putin playing the false flag game more than we have.

You like moving goalposts? We look at all of American history but then want examples from Russia only under Putin.

That's not much of a time frame for comparison.
