If war is imminent, I would expect Biden to get out of bed and personally summon his NATO counterparts, aka James Baker style. The diplomacy was there for the world to see,,,this time just seems fabricated

You are making it far too complicated. Just ask yourself this simple question: How does anything happening in Ukraine affect the average American citizen?

Or, if it would make it easier for you, replacer "Ukraine" in that question with "Vietnam" or "Iraq".

New thought...Germany relies on Putin gas...naive and is rightly demonized. Why do we not have some self reflection over handing over so many of our own critical needs to the CCP?

Because our decision makers are captured and influenced by the CCP. They do not have the average Americans best interests in mind anymore than the have the average EU or Ukrainian citizen's best interests in mind. The are nothing but traitorous grifters. And we have far too many Americans that are willing to empower them and cheer them on in many of their destructive actions.
