Warning For Indiana Residents

BN runs in a light infantry BN weren't terrible (slow, but like 7:30 slow); DIV runs though...I think we were going at a 12:00 pace. Absolutely awful and a waste of time.

Bn runs in Marine Infantry were nowhere near 7:30. I'd say 9:30 at best.

The only 7:30 times were probably from the accordion effect.

Just because you didn't know the speed limit doesn't change the fact that you we're going over. Don't get pissed off at the police for enforcing the law.

Seriously?

Enforcing the law? This is what PO's are paid to do? Sit on the side of the road and pull over people? Because this is the only thing I have EVER seen a police officer do. Everything else they just seriously f up.

They are entitled to harass the citizenry, we can't keep ourselves in line.

I think I've arrested you before and you didn't talk like that in the car.

Why? Because you're a big bad piece of crap police officer who would shoot me if I did?

I actually hired a lawyer and fought the ticket and won, on a side note.

And my comment about being white and wearing a suit was my way of saying I can only imagine how much I'd hate the police if I was black and didn't wear a suit. I can only imagine how they view them.

And there are good cops out there. They're just way way way out numbered.

Last summer, some kids were shooting fireworks out in the fields behind my property, someone called Barney Fife, whatever...

So, living at the end of a dead end, with blue and reds flashing, I stumble out of bed into the yard to see wtf is going on, my setter followed me outside.

I said "Whats going o-----"before i could finish, ass said "Get Back!" in a hostile tone, so my dog got her teeth out and got between us...at which point prick pulled his service pistol and said "Restrain the Dog!!!".

A 60 lb ****ing setter. I hope that POS gets killed.

I'm a law abiding dude, leave me the F alone.

Yeah, im sure he knows that you are a law abiding citizen without ever having met you.

1. He doesn't know what you are capable of and he is responding to a call in the dead of night. In that profession, you have to be on your guard at all times, in all situations.

2. Your dog is with you and I have personally seen a dog smaller than that rip a person up. He can't risk assuming that your dog is perfectly safe.

You literally have no idea what you are talking about. Your irrational hatred for police officers is amazing.

Let's be honest.

There have been more than just one or two times in the past decade a police officer has opened up a complete can of whoop azz or opened fire on someone just because they felt like it.

Seems like every day some police officer is being letting go because he either shot someone without cause or went all night stick happy as 4 other officers held the "perp" down.

I am not saying there are not good cops out there. I know there are. But there are also ALOT of thugs pretending to be the law.

If a man threatens my dog, he is my enemy. Badge or no. Orange, the guy above was on his own property. The dog can hump that cop's leg if it feels like it. If a cop pulls a gun on me or my property on my land when he isn't even there for me, he ought to go to jail himself.

I totally agree and that is disgraceful. Sadly, it has evolved to the point where any dude can carry a gun and taser and harass people if he chooses to under the guise of "serving the people." I got into Criminal Justice because not only do I want to give help my community, but I feel like if I can improve just a few peoples view of Law Enforcement I have done a good thing. They really are there to help and every one I have ever met will gladly give their life to protect someone that can't protect themselves.

I agree IP, he probably shouldn't have drawn his weapon but the officer has to assume that the dog is dangerous and, in the interest of officer safety, has the right to tell him to restrain his dog.

So you can let Barney Fife draw on your dog, since he's an American hero.

He can get the F off my yard.

I assume you're stealing taxpayer money writing speeding tickets.

No, im going to be trying my damnedest to give back to my community. If I ever feel like that stops being my purpose for being in the profession I will leave it. JTrain, I respect you a lot, I always enjoy your opinions but on this I feel you are wrong and that is not going to change. I do agree though that he should not have drawn on you and your dog.

No reason for some malanzana with a gun to draw on an English Setter..

I remember a time I was driving down the road with a friend off mine when I was 17. Guy beside us was in a sports car. He pulls up radio blasting and starts hitting on our girlfriends with him and his buddies. We tell the guy we're going to kick his ass if he doesn't cool it. What happens next? Guy pulls out a badge and says I will haul your ass in to jail if you even say another word. he then drove off yelling cuss words.

I still don't know what the heck to make off that situation. I wish I was making it up too.

That disgusting. Absolutely disgraceful. With a clown like that, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a plastic badge from one of those cop playsets.

I'm not anti police, but the ones I've had to deal with have been much less than professional, and I feel that they don't accomplish their $ per hour value writing tickets.

More or less, they are overpopulated for the purpose they are purported to serve.

I gotta go with this. How much crime are you actually stopping by sitting on the road and handing out tickets?

I want boots on the ground. Actual officers walking around shopping centers or on bikes going through neighborhoods. You're not going to catch a rapist or robber by sitting on the side of the road.

And another thing. I pass cops sitting in parking lots all the time. Just sitting there. Engine on. What are they doing? How does this help anyone?

"Presence Patrol" or, "killing a shift" take your pick.

I do think that there are much more important duties than ticket writing but someone has to do it. That said, its pretty sad when these clown you have come into contact with take that particular duty so seriously and act like they are big and bad when really, all they are they are doing is camping out behind the bush waiting for someone to drive past.

I would laugh except presence patrol is the term an officer actually used with me whe I asked him why I see cops just sitting in parking lots on their phones.
