Yeah its a nice video, I think it's an oversight based on the fact that more people are interested in the NFL, NBA, NHL, College football, college basketball men and women etc, before they would even think about showing something about junior hockey. Some of us do, amazing to watch kids in a sport representing their country and are happy to be born in such a great place!
What the hell is wrong with Bluey? The Fantasy of the Fun TV Dad
In the children’s series “Bluey” and its conservative knockoff, “Chip Chilla,” boundlessly attentive fathers step in to assuage parental anxieties.www.nytimes.com
Parents who recommended bluey in here… how could you? It’s obviously a problematic show. I can’t believe my eyes weren’t opened to this evil sooner.
Well, first things first, LA is a sanctuary city. Won't get into politics, but it is a factor and a big one. The housing/rental market is nuts but I guess that will likely be part of the NIL deal. One other tiny little detail....California is one of the most heavily taxed states in the country. Know they've got to be top 5. Not to be ignored....Tennessee is one of a handful of states with no state income tax. Kind of a big deal if I were a young man about to make that kind of scratch to play college football.on that note USC and UCLA moving to the Big-10 is kinda scary. There are only 3 teams in major colleges in mega markets. UCLA, USC, and Miami. IF someone gets their act together and organizes their collectives they will be almost impossible to compete with in NIL. Miami is stuck in the ACC and UCLA is the clippers in that breakdown to USC's Lakers. Imagine how scary that is? Hey you wanna be an actor, rapper date supermodels? Come to USC. Get NIL deals with stores on Rodeo Drive. No idea why no agency in Hollywood has organized it yet.
Two neighbors of mine just this last year moved in from small Cali cities. Before everyone freaks TF out, dw, they didnt bring their stereotypical politics with them, unfortunately people are moving here because OF politics.Well, first things first, LA is a sanctuary city. So, in speaking with them. It isnt cheaper here. Cost of goods is same, sales tax, and housing costs arent that far off. Again, i'm basing this off speaking to two different family transplants.
Son just returned home after working in Sacramento area for 6 months. He said the CoL differences are massive. And he is an unabashed lefty, so it wasn't a conservative guy hating on Cali thing. Two neighbors of mine just this last year moved in from small Cali cities. One place ive never been.Son just returned home after working in Sacramento area for 6 months. He said the CoL differences are massive. And he is an unabashed lefty, so it wasn't a conservative guy hating on Cali thing.
Guy I talked too is like alt right conservative. Clearly the two of us arent gonna be hanging out much.My experience is the opposite with the people from Cali I know that moved here. Their mortgage is significantly lower. Like, about half of what it was in Cali. Some of that is due to the buying when interest rates were below 3, but a lot of that is due to selling their Cali home for over 600k, (which they made about 200k on) and using those profits to buy a 500k home in TN, which was nearly twice the size of their Cali home. Utility cost are significantly lower as well. Their salary is roughly the same as it was in Cali, and while inflation cut into that a bit, they make up for it in a much lower cost of living.
Son was doing an AmeriCorps program working with forestry service. Spent the majority of his time in national parks and on the PCT. Hard work, but amazing scenery. One place ive never been.
Wife and I are headed to Laguna in March. My brother was stationed in SD in early 2000's, says its uber posh.
Always wanted to visit NC, and Redwoods/Yosemite. But, those will have to wait for kids to grow up. Dont want to miss out in them seeing it.

He said, that his dollar went farther in Cali. Who knows, maybe he just didnt do enough research.
Funny thing about people from Cali. Always want to dog it, and say 'cant wait to get out of there, place is nuts, TN is where normal people live.'
Then talk about how everything here is son far behind Cali. And how there's all these great things they miss. Meanwhile im thinkin', well, its still there ya can always go back.
Can't speak to housing since his was provided, and housing has gotten far worse here due the massive migration. Son's perspective was primarily food/supplies and he said everything was far more expensive. His biggest lament was the security making simple purchases hard. Apparently many things were locked that would be on a shelf here. It apparently got tiresome. As much as he enjoyed being there, he was clearly happy getting home.Guy I talked too is like alt right conservative. Clearly the two of us arent gonna be hanging out much.

@Ulysees E. McGill the board has long had a running commie/fascist joke. I do not think you're actually a Nazi, or any of these morans. @SugarCC We're all guilty of joking, teasing etc. Its the VN way.Lol...calling out your soft woke stupidity and I am a Nazi...that's funny, because it is exactly what a woke idiot does.
The American Marxist stasi that runs our government, media, entertainment, and academia is the embodiment of woke, brother. They proliferate woke. Woke is a mind virus created and spread by God complex commies in order to unmoor people from common sense Western civilization and culture so that in the near future those people will be less likely to resist the purposeful degradation of their way of life in favor of autocratic global Marxism. Look what you made me do. I know I shouldn't even say anything but it's like Jesus said once, "...if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out." Good day.If my stance is woke, whatever that is - other than a catch phrase of the stasi - then so be it.
I believe Ive hit a nerve. Also believe you're lashing out. Not everything in the world has an agenda. The "stasi"...says the man who calls for the ban of twitter accounts like Richard West; all because he, himself, believes everything he reads on the internet, and gets taken for the sucker he is.
