We will wear cool unis vs Ore and WIN 35-27! we may beat Fla! GO VOLS!

My head tells me to be realistic and that 2013 will be a ROUGH year but my heart tells me that WE ARE TENNESSEE DAMN IT and that it won't always be this way. Eventually it will be our turn again and I hope that it starts now.... slowly but surely. My head also tells me that it can't get much worse.

lets take it easy beating oregon wothout chip kelly would still be a huge upset, would absolutely be bouncin off the walls but they still have marriota and the black mamba they will still contend for NC next year i think top 25 by weeks 7-9 may be possible just cuz im expecting georgia to melt like ice again they always do the year after but i think it will be the same sec minus candy and lus jmho

Last years team was a 9 win team. Should have beaten Missouri, South Carolina, and either Florida or Georgia. We basically had the same same defensive players as the year before. Coaching made the difference.

Taking all things into consideration, I'm not ready to put a number of wins I expect.
However I do expect to see progress from week to week. If we can get that I will consider 2013 a successful season.

I will buy in every year until I die. It's worth wearing your heart on your sleeve. It makes the losses hurt more, but the big wins are amazing!

We have one hard azz schedule next year, but i'll break it down simply. Not typing out all the teams here, so keeping it simple.

7 games: we could/should win.

5 games: We need to win 1 of.

8 wins. Coach of the year! :)

Based on the recruiting rankings the last 4 years you are wrong, TN is #6 average in the SEC and no more attrition than any other team.

I mean usually other than TN they have been right.

I disagree. Strongly. With a good coach we would have beat Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Missouri (All close games) and we would have stomped a mud hole in Vandy. A good coach also includes defensive assistants that have players in place and coached unlike Sal.

Recruiting rankings are prediction based. When it comes to production it comes down more to player development and execution. We were never good with Dooley in either area. In addition are had a good amount of attrition from said highly ranked classes. It's comparing apples to oranges to say we are currently as talented as Oregon.
