Well I'm not conceding the Georgia game.

Me neither. I see us beating Ga at home before we go to Tuscaloosa and win. Same as with a really bad Fla. We have been the better teams several times going into the Swamp, only to walk out with a a$$ beating. I don't concede any wins or losses. We very easily could beat GA, Fla and Ala or could easily lose all 3. We have to prove we can beat them more than once before I feel good about us actually doing it.

At Mizzou scares the hell outta me too. I seem to be in the minority, but that game sets up like SC did last year. We play at Mizzou, in November the week before GA. They bring back more starters than just about every other team. That same team that lead Ga for 56 minutes last year. I know we beat the brakes off them, but it was a 7 pt game midway through the 3rd. Then we pulled away late. That game scares the FK outta me.

SC last year wasn’t a trap game we played vandy right after… again I hate excuses but to have the lockeroom issue we had the day of travel had us off focus on the defensive end… that won’t happen likely ever again under this staff with the type of players they recruit… not saying we can’t or won’t lose it just won’t be any off field distractions like that one… don’t stress Heup is a top 5-10 coach in the country and he will continue to self evaluate and never become complacent.

SC last year 100% was a trap game, we overlooked them at home and lost, and were still the better team, it doesn't matter who you play after

I can tell my age (66) is affecting my training of thought. I actually want to enjoy the ride of this season game by game. I used to say “12-0” every year and just die inside when we would lose (and we always lost except in 1998). If we improve weekly we could possibly win it all. But in reality, we will probably lose 1 or 2 and need some help or go to New Years 6 Bowl. I’m here for the ride, not just the finish line.

After watching the first week of action I must say Tennessee could arguably be the 3rd best team in the country. Unfortunately for us we have the #1 and #2 teams in the country on our schedule. Outside of Alabama and Georgia we should win out. Yes Florida has the best player in the country in Anthony Richardson but the rest of the team is trash. LSU is a complete mess. Kentucky is still Kentucky. I don't even need to mention the rest. We should win 10 games. No excuses.
