You never hear my say anyone is stupid for taking it. I think to each their own. Babies? I get it. Older? I get it. Weak immune system? I get it. But don’t” force “ your beliefs on me.I'm with you. These type mandates are way outside the constitution, and the given power of the office. and people that try to compare it to small pox, et al., vaccines is laughable. I'm totally not against a person deciding to get the shot. The only absolute reason I did (my second is this weekend) is solely to ease my wife's mind. I'm more than positive I have natural immunity, though I have no proof I've had Covid. My one and only test for work was negative, but I've never gone out of my way to avoid contact. But, to appease her fear that if I ever did get it and died, the bills would eat up the life insurance. I wasn't happy about giving in, but it was not worth marital strife. And, my step-son has twin preemies that are now 3 months old and I haven't been able to make the trip yet. I would not cast the fear upon them that I would come around the grand babies that are just now reaching an actual birth weight. I'd have been more than happy to dare the gov to try and tie me down for it though. I like your idea to have the employer sign off on you taking the shot. Creative.
I believe most (maybe just some) people understand that their is a balance between individual rights and societal rights. It is impossible to have one without the other. The debate has to be about the proper balance.
Your individual freedom to walk into a hospital without wearing a mask is outweighed by society's right to have a hospital where reasonable precautions can be demanded for the safety of the people being treated.
Who's talking about masks? I'm talking about vaccines.
I'm all for your right to choose and do not support a vaccination requirement, but not choosing to be vaccinated is dumb and subject to my ridicule. Especially when the rationale is filled with personal anecdotes and false dichotomies. We all win when there is less people dying, less serious illness which results in stability in financial, housing, manufacturing and other markets. You toss around a 1% mortality rate like that's the only thing that should matter, there's far more to it than that but you'll need to think bigger to reconcile it.
Sure they do, but the number is a small, small fraction when compared to the unvaccinated.
Masks aren't common sense and a lot of the data shows they don't do much. But if asked by a private business one should respect their wishes or not enter
Of course they do. You have to be giggling at yourself.
Let's try these:
Do your neighbors have the right to stop you from burning toxic materials on your property?
Do your neighbors living downstream have the right to stop you from pouring poisons in the stream as it runs through your property?

There is no “baseline” with me. It’s either right or wrong. For example: there isn’t 32 genders. There are only 2 genders and 30 different types of gay. There is no world where a man should legally be able to walk in a public bathroom behind a little girl. There is no world where men should be able to compete in women’s sports. There is no world where you fund and arm the enemy without being convicted of treason. There is no world where you genetically engineer viruses and call it innocent.I'm just trying to establish your baseline.
Hogg is the only one who is consistent, and everyone sees how absurd his stance ultimately is.....but at least he is absurdly consistent.
