It's more about the willingness to accept and defend the freedom of our right to express our ideological differences.

You judged. You can’t dodge it now. There is no “standard” of detailed beliefs that make you a patriot. There will be slight variances between individuals. However, the base belief is the same. A patriot doesn’t follow tyranny. He believes in the constitution to the letter. He doesn’t support snake like, methodical infringement and he is willing to die for everyone’s freedoms.

That’s the basis of my arguments and you apparently feel I don’t know what a patriot is when I feel it’s a fairly accurate description.

I believe him on that he doesn't judge patriotism, but questions the definition you may have of it. Your comments concerning campaign flags and stickers didn't help your credibility on the matter

Edit: I guess I could amend my statement to say that you think patriots would go into bass pro and beat up people with Biden stickers if they could find people with Biden stickers.

I agree. I could actually see him having a bigger impact on the GOP if he didn’t . He could come out at the convention and get the crowd all nuts saying that he fully supports “Candidate X” and they should too. At the same time, the Left is reeling right now, amd it’s only gonna get worse for the foreseeable future. There is no energy or positive outlook and Trump running would be exactly what they would need to energize and unite the Party just like it did a year ago.

My comments on the campaign flags stem from the mood of the people. Not saying I personally Would and I made that clear.

Likely not true in any sense. No one is f'ing hiding from misguided Trump supporters. Not even the misguided Biden supporters. With all due respect you don't have a healthy pulse of the current, overall ideological climate. You are too receptive of fringe elements

With a 70% disapproval rate I think it’s fair to assume that some of those 70% have some loose screws and would absolutely attack a supporter of someone trying to take our freedom

Best thing he could do is like you said support and disappear. We have a saying on a different forum I am a part of. "Don't touch the poo". It means feel free to talk, but don't get personally involved.
Once they have the Trump support factor, their best play would have stay far away from him. I just don't think his ego can play 2nd fiddle.

What I fear will be, he will try to run. They will put someone in the R's place and Trump will run 3rd party and split the vote. See 1912 with Taft and Roosevelt.

Ok, but it's a miniscule of fringe who would take any action and it hasn't got hasn't got a damn thing to do with taking away your freedoms. Your radical, clueless fools may think that, but they won't be able to articulate the freedoms they've lost because they actually didn't lose any of their freedoms. The Republican TN legislature, under cover of night with carve-outs for Ford, just denied business owners their freedom to decide who to employee... and nobody is really sure what they passed at this point. Are the Bass Pro Patriots going to whoop their asses too?

So if I don’t believe in the 16th and 17th amendments to the letter I’m not a patriot? If I’m not willing to die for the freedom to have abortion on demand I’m not a patriot?

I'm sure you'll be okay at the Defuniak Springs Bass Pro if you say abortion is bad. True patriots who want to whoop ass are easily distracted.
