I might be able to understand that if the team was 0 for whatever. Booing on a first half possession or going into the half when you have seen this team play lights out in the 2nd half? I don't understand. It happened to oklahomas team too. He isn't magically going to find himself in a place that doesn't boo their own after 200$+ admission prices
I don't think think most are tone deaf. For one it happens everywhere. So it's not like they can just move away in portal and escape boo birds. Second I think they realize most of time booing groans are loudest are when coaches opt to take ultra conservative approach. Players feel the same way. It was referenced late in Georgia and Texas game that the offensive line for Georgia was trying to convince Kirby to go for it on 4th and effectively end game even though they are up 15 and a punt makes a long field. Players always wants to roll the dice. Fans do too. I typically stand with coaches on the calls but fans want to see theatrics and the players do too, to some degree.I might be able to understand that if the team was 0 for whatever. I don't understand booing. Do people think the players believe they are playing well and happy themselves? Do we think they need to be reminded that fans are in the stands? Is it a reminder that they are losing? Booing does not inspire these guys to play better. They are competitive by nature. They realize when they're getting whipped
