98 Arkansas game. My wife was not a big football fan. She came to the game with me, raining and she was miserable. As the game went on I noticed her cheering more and more. By the end, she was cheering at the top of her lungs. No better feeling than to take someone who doesn't get "it" about TN Football and seeing them change before your eyes. Since that game she is decked out in Orange every Saturday. Go Vols!

2007 Vandy when Rogan had the explosive return and Colquitt was hit on the punt giving us possession late in the game. I also enjoyed the beat down vs Cincinnati. My favorite atmosphere though had to be the Oregon game. Even though we were drilled, I loved their fans

All three were GREAT days to be a Tennessee VOL

1992 Hall of Fame Bowl back in the days of the Sombrero. I know that's odd, but it's the only game I went to with my Dad and Grandfather. Dad had to explain to me why UT fans (the older, 'blue-bloods') were wearing Pitt hats.

Runner up was the 98 FL game. Won't forget making my way onto the field.

98 Gators missing field goal(people storming field)

& Arkansas fumble(people had already left stadium).

Any game prior to 87 when dad was alive and first game with boys.

Hubert Simpson running all over Notre Dame.

Herschel Walkers freshman year.

Majors and Vols finally defeating Bama

Sorry to get carried away but what games were they, the good ole days.[/QUshocked

Arky in 98 was great. Our fans were as horrible then as they are now about walking out early. I was shocked to see so many leave early.

FL 2001 was probably the best game I remember between 2 elite teams. Was there with a FL fan. Was a great ride home!

I was given tickets to the '88 Peach Bowl, fell in love with the Vols & their fan base that day.

1988 Peach Bowl: Tennessee Volunteers vs. Indiana Hoosiers

January 2, 88 @ Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium, Atlanta, Georgia

My favorite game attended is fairly recent, due to my somewhat young age (22) and a lack of funding for football tickets before becoming a student at UT. My favorite game attended has thus far been the '09 South Carolina game. I know that the black jerseys rubbed some people the wrong way, but can't argue the atmosphere that night. The place was as electric as it had been in quite a while. Plus it was my 1st Halloween on a college campus, the things I saw will live with me forever.

I'm in the same boat as you. Sad to say that's the best game I've been to. NCstate this year was a blast too.

Cincy.

We had just moved back and it was the first Vol game at Neyland my wife had ever went to. My wife loved the stadium and cheered us on.

She also went to the MSB and said Neyland was much better and louder than LG Field.

Sat in the end zone at Grant Field Nov. 10, 1956 Atlanta. Both Vols and Georgia Tech unbeaten and matchup was highlighted in Life Mag. Unlike lately, Vol defense was crazy good and in 3d quarter Majors hit Buddy Cruze with 2 long passes. Vols won 6-0 and finished regular season unbeaten, SEC champs. Played Baylor in Sugar Bowl and lost, finished 2d in AP. Bowden Wyatt coach.
