UF 1992. 45 yard line, student section, about 10 rows up from UF bench. Packed in like sardines. A monsoon and Mose Phillips. Epic.
UT football, where have you gone?

Andy Kelly's last game as a Vol - November of '91 vs. Vandy. I think we won 44-0, but don't remember exact score and haven't looked it up.

We ran a fake field goal that game (up by quite a bit already) and threw a TD pass to Shazon Bradley, a big beast of a Linebacker.

Kelly left the field to a standing ovation and was replaced by a young freshman named Heath Shuler. Man I wish he hadn't left early.

AV

PS. Kelly had no where near the talent of Bray, but he sure did know how to win.

2009 South Carolina. That atmosphere was just awesome. That was the last time that the future actually looked bright for the Vols in my opinion. 2006 Cal would have to be next on my list though. Too bad I was never able to go when we had a great team.

2006 California.

My first game as a student, and it was absolutely nuts.

2006 UGA
My first away game. They were laying it to us early, and we came back and hung half a hundred on them.

Can't choose...both '86 Sugar Bowl victory over Miami & Nat'l. Championship win versus Fl. State. Privileged to be at both games.

Tossup between Sugar Bowl in NO against Miami and Nat Champ in Ariz which the doughboy lucked into playing a FSU team and there 3rd string QB this is still the greatest moment as a Vol.Unless we get the man this time it will be another 50 before we win the next one.

Mine would be the 2004 Tennessee/Florida game when James wilhout kicked the game winning field goal redeeming himself from the one he missed earlier in the game!

Kelly had "Little Man" Stewart, Aaron Hayden, Chuck Webb, Reggie Cobb, Carl Pickens, Alvin Harper, Anthony Morgan, five o-lineman who made it in the NFL, and a beast of a defense.

Oh, and a 3rd string TB, Tony Thompson, who came in after Webb was injured, and merely rushed for over 1300 yards in 8 games.

I mean, how freakin' deep was that team?

these 4 plus TT were not all on the same team the same year - sounded like that is what you are suggesting.
