What if Heupel is gone

Dont believe he's going to the NFL. Nebraska might be another story but even if they're interested do they have enough appeal to hire him? I don't think so but who knows.

Nah, our D didn’t quit. There were a lot of throws that were perfectly placed. That early TD that our defender barely tipped, talking about a game of inches.

We needed to run more stunts vs their offense either to stop the run or pass, playing vanilla most of the time obviously was a bad plan.

Our offense not answering was a problem too. When you are in a shootout, you better keep shooting. We played to our film on offense too. With a miss fire here and there, well we all saw what happened.

Offense was adequate. No team is going to win a game that gets one defensive stop all night.

Then f*** Heupel! If he can't beat a 6-4 SC team he can f*ucking walk!!!

That was an average any year UT football team that got their ass handed to them by a down SC team! Coaching be damned.

Does ignorant belligerence come before or after acceptance? I can't keep it straight.

We're about to play for our first 10 win season since '07, and this is what the comments look like?

If he has already agreed to an under the table deal to go to the NFL then it would explain last night...

Sounds like we're both hearing rumors then.
I heard...

I don’t think Heupel is going anywhere. However if I were a great coach heck I’d love to go to Nebraska.

I mean seriously the B10 West is open for the taking. Someone could make Nebraska a power again (at least B10 West power) they could be on top of the West for a long time.

Win one game every now and then in the championship and your in he playoff. Heck once the 12 team playoff comes you don’t even have to do that.

What if the Bear ain't really dead and Nick's scared he'll lose his job. That probably explains why they lost to us.

Umm that would mean he has checked out. Watching that press conference last night he legitimately looked like wanted to cry the whole time. Heupel is invested in what we have and I will say this again. He will be rewarded financially here and there is no better job security than working for the person who hired you at 2 different places. Sure Heupel could go to NFL and make a few more million a year for a period and if doesn't work get fired like most NFL coaches. Urban Meyer didnt even make 1 season lol. Or he can continue working for AD Danny White who hired him twice and a fanbase that is ecstatic for resurrecting our program. That man hurt last night and he isn't done with us and you can't convince me otherwise.

Ignorant comments like this reminds me that this program doesn’t deserve a good coach.

Hell, none of y’all never even expected to beat Bama.

If he does, then UT doesn't deserve a football team, relegate it the rugby team level and be done with it.

Didn't he get a contract extension back around mid season? I know these things should wait until the end of the season but I know the AD and others knew they better retain Heupel if they have a prayer of a rebuilding program.
