Nah, our D didn’t quit. There were a lot of throws that were perfectly placed. That early TD that our defender barely tipped, talking about a game of inches.
We needed to run more stunts vs their offense either to stop the run or pass, playing vanilla most of the time obviously was a bad plan.
Our offense not answering was a problem too. When you are in a shootout, you better keep shooting. We played to our film on offense too. With a miss fire here and there, well we all saw what happened.
Then f*** Heupel! If he can't beat a 6-4 SC team he can f*ucking walk!!!
That was an average any year UT football team that got their ass handed to them by a down SC team! Coaching be damned.
Dont believe he's going to the NFL. Nebraska might be another story but even if they're interested do they have enough appeal to hire him? I don't think so but who knows.
Umm that would mean he has checked out. Watching that press conference last night he legitimately looked like wanted to cry the whole time. Heupel is invested in what we have and I will say this again. He will be rewarded financially here and there is no better job security than working for the person who hired you at 2 different places. Sure Heupel could go to NFL and make a few more million a year for a period and if doesn't work get fired like most NFL coaches. Urban Meyer didnt even make 1 season lol. Or he can continue working for AD Danny White who hired him twice and a fanbase that is ecstatic for resurrecting our program. That man hurt last night and he isn't done with us and you can't convince me otherwise. If he has already agreed to an under the table deal to go to the NFL then it would explain last night...
