Michael Cohen says his seven meetings with the Manhattan DA are 'not good news' for Trump: Prosecutors ramp up investigation into former president's business empire

Michael Cohen has suggested that his multiple meetings with the Manhattan District Attorney's office 'aren't good news' for Donald Trump.

The former president's ex fixer and lawyer shared a tweet that quoted US attorney Joyce Vance and linked to an article in which she told MSNBC: 'He [Cohen] can help...them understand transactions that may have been criminal conduct.'

Vance - no relation to Manhattan DA Cyrus Vance - added: 'The fact that he's been there seven times and is rumored to be going back for an eighth time is not good news for Trump.'

Cohen has reportedly met with prosecutors for seven interviews in a sweeping investigation into alleged financial crimes by the Trump Organization. The former fixer is viewed as a key witness in the probe.

Cohen is currently in home confinement serving a three-year sentence on charges related to payoffs he made during the 2016 presidential race to buy the silence of two women who alleged they had affairs with Trump.

Funny thing is, in 2023 when he's running again he will yet again lie unashamedly and say he's still under audit but promises to release them. And the cult members will be duped yet again.

Refresh my memory, but what exactly are you looking for in his tax returns? Is this a search for criminal activity or just an effort to embarrass him?

1) Criminal activity; 2) Links to Russian money; 3) He is actually broke; 4) No significant charitable giving; 5) Indebted to questionable people; 6) Lying about his net worth.


That last one is by itself why he fights so hard to keep it secret. He doesn't want people to know he's mortgaged to the hilt and not nearly as successful as he portrays himself.

Why wouldn't he fight it? Any lawyer would advise him to. Tax returns are private information which you should be able to keep private if you wish.
