That's BS. It was never mentioned in the AA allegations after he was fired. Just another build up story by Martin slurpers to discredit.

I don't care if they fire Cuonzo tomorrow. You have to be devoid of reasoning to want Bruce Pearl rehired.

No, but UT fired him for a couple other things after the original lie.

It was nothing more then a slap on the wrist. BP took the bulk of the penalties. Once his show-cause is over I would have no problem bringing him back. I don't think it would ever actually happen though.

He (pitino) was certainly a part of hawaii going on probation. NCAA recommended him being fired. He provided misinfo to the NCAA (sound familar?), paid round trip air fare fee for players, along with other things.

I loved Pearl and hated that he was fired. But I don't believe this to be true. Pearl did have a bump violation after he apologized and accepted the school's self imposed penalties. Unfortunately it did not look good.

We have been playing for years without a point guard and it really showed today. We will not be ready for prime time until that problem is solved. Also, we would have won the game today, even without a PG, if we had hit half our free throws. When Stoked has to sit on the bench in tight games because he can not hit FTs, don't look for us to win many close games. that is just the way i see it.

Pearl is not going to coach men's basketball at Tennessee again. Get over it already. We need to go after a coach like a Brad Stevens. Tom Cream was out there before he went to Indiana. Bad decisions by Hammy.

Pearl got the then gf of his equipment manager pregnant and gave her $3,000 for an abortion. I must have missed that. Are you saying getting a divorce is the same thing?

NCAA also recommended that pitino be let go by hawaii back while he was an assistant there. Payed for round trip air fare fees for players, gave misinfo to the NCAA (sound familar?), along with several other things.

But yeah, pearl is the only college athletics coach to make a mistake.
