What other message boards are saying (Florida Post Game)

This is what makes the UF game so damn frustrating. Playing at home, superior depth, coming off a humbling loss and still can’t go into the game confident of a win. It wasn’t and I’m thankful but this could easily been a loss.

Oh, I’m referring to number alone. This team has no business in the playoffs sadly
Yep, it's a QB driven game the guy behind center has to pick everyone else up and be a leader. The blocking isn't always going to be perfect you have to make plays find and hit the open receivers, move the chains with your feet when needed, make plays. All the best teams have QBs that are difference makers, just the way it is.

He is a RS freshman starting his 7th game.
Yep, theirs's Johnny Manziel RS Freshman QBs that are on a Heisman path and then some just can't make that quick limelight jump. Nico is still a project; I see why he was Red shirted last year.

I still want to know what the hell Heupel was thinking going for it on 4th and 1 from his own 10

Honestly, I think that was a message to his offense that basically “you either nut up and get a yard, or you don’t deserve to win”. I think he was frustrated with the offense like the rest of us. It’s one of those where you either look like you’ve got major balls or you look like an idiot. He was willing to take the risk.

Nico is obviously not as good as advertised. But we have started 5-1 or better only 7 times out of 26 seasons post 1998. And Heupel is responsible for 2 of those 7 in his 4 years as coach here. I’ll take it for now.
Can we Fing sticky this at the top of the FF?

Ffs sometimes he wins ugly but he wins. Also has beat Bama, Florida multiple times, embarrassed LSU in their own stadium, and beat the piss out of Clemson.

Napier coached circles around Tennessee last night until he choked not going for the win in the last minute.

Really need Nico to hit these open WR's down the field going forward. I hope our gameplan for Bama is to move the pocket more to help our O line and give Nico half the field to read with the expectation he tucks it and runs when there's nothing there. We have to risk him running more at this point because our offense is very anemic at this point and can't score.

Do you think Nico improves? That's the million dollar question
