Honestly feel bad for Miss State as a program. For a state as small as Mississippi, they probably shouldn't have two SEC teams. They have to fight each other for resources in a state that doesn't have the population or financial donors of other states. I really don't see much of a path for them to be longterm successful in the conference. I wish them well, but the outlook isn't great.

Eh, there is a LOT of athletic talent available in the state of Mississippi, and central Alabama is not far away, and same for Memphis and even North LA.

2-7 with a loss to Toledo, Tennessee, Ole Miss , and Missouri left to go. That's pretty far down. I kind of feel bad for them.

We need to show the CFP committee that we are a force to be reckoned with. Also put some fear in the Dawg fans because they are already nervous. It would be nice to knock the Dawgs out of the playoffs.

Oh I agree. Tennessee needs to make a statement and drill Miss ST by as many points as possible.
