Agree about the UGA fans. I worked for one during Mark Richt's heyday and he made it unbearable every year when their inevitable collapse happened.

-We are going to hammer them.

-UT looks good..whether we like it or not

-I feel good about our offense… but our D has to get a pass rush! I’m very curious to see our gameplan.. does Kirby shorten the game and play a bend don’t break on D.. but that can backfire quickly with a couple big plays..

-Stetson needs to take the passes that are there, not try to make the ESPN highlights. The athletes are there to do more when the catch it, he needs to be more careful with the ball and our possessions in general.

-Dawgs win and cover. Staff will have them ready.

-UT getting all this hype for beating Kentucky, another trash team they’ve played.

-This game is impossible to predict. Need to start STRONG and FAST, otherwise UT could put up 50+ on us. Can see it being very close, and I can also see this being a blowout on either side. Tough one

-We should score TDs on most possessions. Their D is atrocious.

-Tennessee is overrated. Kentucky sucks. It’s two JV teams.

-We will skull drag Tennessee, we’re the only elite team in the country.

-Sanford crowd will be the x-factor. Tennessee is very good. But Georgia is better.

-Sanford is about to break the Neyland decibel record next week. Dawgs by 17!

-It's epic if we win. If we play like we played against Florida it will be a nightmare.

-This love fest for Tennessee is sickening. The most overrated team in cfb history!

I also scanned DawgRant, but it seemed like everyone was pretty level headed over there for the most part.

Last year Alabama smoked them in the SECCG via elite QB and WR play. We have that in droves. UGA got lucky in that Alabama lost both those receivers, one in the SECCG and the other in the early 2nd quarter of the playoff. Otherwise Alabama would be on a 9-0 streak against them. That Georgia team lost 8 starters on defense but have not had to play even a very good offense yet this season.

I still don't see Oregon as a great offense, as they've played no one with a defense at all besides Georgia. They have faced the #58 scoring defense, #63, #83, #104, #126, plus Eastern Washington who is 120th out of 123 teams in 1-AA in scoring D. Bo Nix was horrible in the SEC and he was horrible vs UGA. Him looking great in Pac 12 play just shows how awful the defenses are in that conference.

Outside of Oregon the best offense UGA has played is South Carolina, who is #62 in scoring. Florida who is #64, and Kent State at 70. Last year vs a much much tougher schedule than they've played to date, UGA gave up more than 20 one time. This year they already have 3 times, to scoring offenses rated #64, #70 and #97.

The best part of this is we could lose to Georgia and still make the playoffs because of our resume but if they lose to us, Bama could actually jump them and they would be out of the SECCG and the playoffs.

An additional note, we've played 3 defenses that are in the top 28 in scoring defense, (we will be the first they've played, we are #26) and we are averaging 45.3 points per game against those top 28 scoring defenses.

Georgia has faced one top 50 scoring defense, Missouri. Otherwise they've faced #58 South Carolina, Oregon is #81, Auburn and Florida are tied at #94, Kent State is 113, Vandy is #124. Samford is ranked 33rd in 1-AA/FCS.

Pretty much every other board that quotes have been posted on here from in past weeks has had mostly reasonable posts from their fans that realized they were in for a battle with us, Alabama included. I'm really dumbfounded how clueless and football-illiterate most of the Dawg fans quoted above are. Are these twelve-year-old kids? I just can't fathom how an adult with normal human intelligence that has been watching the sport of football for longer than a week can be that bottomlessly ignorant of everything about the game.

We had Gators down 17 with 4 minutes left and got an unfortunate break while playing too soft. Plus they made a few 4th downs. It wasn’t that close.

We play the same schedule as them but we have bama and lsu. I’m sorry, what’s this haven’t played anyone talk? You’d think after watching the past 6 games I a row where the opponent said that they’d realize we’ve had the most challenging schedule in the country to date. They struggled with a trash mizzou team. We may lose, they are legit, but this is the biggest test they have to date .

Beyond their arrogance, what’s funny is that many of their fans are butt-hurt from all of the attention on the VOLS over the past weeks. They don’t seem to grasp that our team is both really good and fun to watch… much more so than the product they put on the field.

There are no truly elite teams this year in college football, and that parity is driving the Dawgs mad because last year didn’t rid them of their inferiority complex. There’s not a program or fan base I loathe more than Georgia.
