What was up with the call on the Fant to Hyatt TD?

Somebody mentioned in another thread that it could have been a play for Hyatt to get revenge or whatever on whoever pissed him off the previous drive.

Or, it could’ve been just to make Hyatt feel good again. Hyatt was hot, but I really like how we pulled him out of the game to cool him off, and on the next series we go right to him. It shows we’ve always got his back.

I originally pondered it myself and then I said (wait) our brand now includes the most dynamic offense in the NCAA - we have certain offensive standards and yards per game to maintain - this in turn helps in recruiting - and it helps in our national rankings - so .....
not totally shocked but it was executed so beutifully, I would have liked to have seen it against Ky or Georgia rather than Martin.

I agree with a few others here, my first thought was it was intended for Coach Simpson and how they treated UT and Heupel with the recruitment of Ty Simpson.

Eh, CJH doesn’t seem like that type of guy.

If I was a betting man, I’d say Fant asked if he could throw a pass if it was a blow out and CJH obliged.

I just think there was something between JS and CJH before the game and before Tennessee started to really score. What, I don't know.
