What year did you attend your first UT game?

The La Monroe game on Sept 23 , 2000 the tickets were my 20th birthday present from my dad and bro , we got trashed before the game and then the VOLS TRASHED THEM
70 - 3 it was the best birthday present i ever have gotten . Will not forget it and cant wait to take my 3 yr old to his first game , it may even be the Kentucky game , he loves the VOLS and says GO BIG ORANGE when he see's them on tv GO VOLS !!!

BEST THREAD EVER!

I love reading these stories! Can't wait to make memories like these with my kids (0 right now)

The Memphis game in 2000 was incredible , defensive battle , got rained on the entire game , felt like a UT home game ! It was close! 17-16 I think .

The worst game was last year @ UF , me and my girlfriends new tradition, she's a Gator , I'm a VOL , the first play Hunter injured his knee and my heart sunk. But the Florida fans have so far been the nicest, they were upset Hunter got hurt, said we would've won . Hated the 14 hour ride home!

2004 Oct 16th @Ole Miss W 21-17. By far the best/worse game. Refs were obviously favored to Ole Miss, fans were horrible, got drenched in beer and wine leaving, my buddy got punched in the eye and his jacket ripped up. I broke my mid finger punching the guy who hit my buddy. Not to mention Erik Ainge played horribly.
But I think BAMA had a bad year then 6-6, and we beat them!!

1971. I was 8 years old and went with my father and uncle. Sam and Andy's and UT football. I was in heaven. My late father and I enjoyed this routine many times. Broke my heart when i took my son to his first game a few years ago and Sam and Andy's was no longer there. At least we beat Florida in the game.

October 8, 2011 against UGA. Poole and Bray injured. UGA fans throwing shoes and peanut shells at fans. Took my sister. Pretty memorable.

1971 liberty bowl must have been the coldest nite of the century sitting in the end zone with the wind chill factor of freeze your ass off great game UT 14 Arky 13

1956 and Johnny Majors was the star player. I remember him kicking, running, pasing and how he had so much help from the other players....My that was a long time ago. I still go to games and still pull for them, especially since my household is for another SEC team.....
