Lol nomination for most ironic post of day

lol in my defense he was, as was the rest of their team. We were the two teams that took it most seriously and while it was the semifinal, it was really the best two teams having to play a round too early

Anyway, the league required 2 guys and 2 girls in the infield, so ours was me at 1st, a girl who had no skill at 2nd, a travel baseball player (who played short) at SS, and a senior softball player (who played 3rd) at 3rd. There was 1 out and a guy runner on 2nd with a guy batting. He hit a hard grounder to short and he looked the guy back to the base. Just as he released the ball, the guy took off. I made the throw that you NEVER throw, and threw a bullet right to the inside of the bag in time to tag him out.

Football: Scoring a touchdown as a sophomore on a busted field goal in a literal torrential downpour so thick you couldn't see ten feet in front of you, let alone throw/catch a pass well. (we also had a decent team for my size our senior year, won all of our games by 2 tds or more and didn't lose until the final four to the eventual state champs. Still pissed about the coaching job on that one)

Basketball: Game winning 15 foot jump shot with 12 seconds left in a varsity vs jv game in middle school that had a bigger crowd than our high school.

Baseball: stole 32 consecutive bases without being thrown out in high school, 5 in one game, stole home once in the little league world series (we lost by 20) and once again in high school. Once threw two guys out from left field in the same play (both tried to steal home, one was slow as hell, hit a bullet to our catcher who tagged both.) had a LLWS game when I was 13 where I took part in 14/15 of the outs in the game. The only one I didn't get in on was a strikeout.

Played minor league baseball for a while.

Softball: Was an umpire at 16 years old for a league of girls aged 13-16. Set a record for most new phone numbers in a day and week.

I scored 51pts in a rec basketball league game in highschool. I just couldn't miss.

Other than that it would be getting college scholarship offers for football. That always made me proud even though I passed on them.

Boom Serrano is reading this. You still got eligibility? He has like a third of a scholarship he can divvy up I'm sure.

I think I posted this before but while at UT our intramural co-ed Volleyball team won the IM championship. The next year we entered the same team in the Men's league (we had 3 guys/3 girls) and lost in the championship game.

On the run to that game in the Men's league a team we smoked complained to the IM office that we had girls on our team in the Men's league so should be DQ'd. The office just laughed at them.

Our IM flag football team (B-league) at UT made the Championship game but lost. The coolest part was we got to play the game at Neyland.

Oh yeah, I scored 4 TDs in one game while at Polk High...

I once wrestled VN user Hobock under the G-10 ramp during a tailgate. Also, we verbally abused a University of Missouri sousaphone player. She almost cried. Go vols.

Junior year we were down 7-6 to this team with about 0:50 left in the 4th. I caught a wheel route out of the backfield and took it 89 yds to the house. That was pretty sweet.

Also dropped 24 against a big school in our area my senior year for basketball. Played in front of about 2500 and beat them by 6. We were down 8 at half. Loved that feeling walking off their floor in front of their students. Soaked that up.

My senior of high school I got to start 1 game at DE due to the starter being injured and got a sack.

Career backup and that was my only varsity start.

100% True

Been debating walking on for the UT baseball team in the fall, but not sure if I'm even eligible because of the minor league time.

I've been All-Conf, All District Tournament, All-Region and All Northeast TN in basketball back in high school. Single game rebounding record at my school. And back in little league I had the record for most times hit by pitch. They started giving out an award for it "bullseye award" I think i still hold that one haha.

Went to 2 straight state finals in soccer for high school, and won one title. Now I'm happy being able to play basketball 3 or 4 times a week with good friends.
