Where is Alexa headed? [Alexa Middleton leaving team]

Sorry about the delay...New position and new hours are taking a toll on me.

I wanted to go to college from the gitgo. After serving in the Army (1982), I thought about trying to walk on at UTC for football. 6'2", 190 (that was a good size for the position back then). I could throw a football very accurately up to around 30-35 yards and could launch one about 70 yards, full tilt. (Even now, I can still throw it near 50 yards). But life threw me a little curve and basketball found me. I have loved this game ever since.

I never played organized BB so it is even more perplexing how I got into it. But from day one, it made sense to me. And not having played the game, in a position, gives me insight on every position.

I had a great deal of fun going to UTC. Worked 2 SEC Women's tourneys, and an AAU 16U national championship, and got to be the team liaison for the 1996 Australian Women's team for a tourney held at Chatt St. . . Did an internship under the A.D., Oval Jaynes. Graduated with a BS in Sports Management with a minor in Athletic Coaching. 3.56 GPA.

Jump, you are also excellent at creative writing. Lol. Enjoyed.

fyi, Jamie Nared is a new graduate of UT. done in 3 years. She could leave with no year wait and play elsewhere.

If it were in her intentions to do so, I think she would've already did it. She will take classes toward her Master's next season and more than likely return to complete it here or transfer those credits elsewhere, but she will certainly complete her final year of eligibility at UT!

She is already enrolled in graduate classes at UT. No need to stir up something that isn't in the realm of possibility of happening.

Jamie nared is not leaving that would not be smart on her part and her boyfriend plays for it so ppl stop fishing

Never heard much other than personality conflict with teammate(s).
She's a quitter. Deshields is a quitter. Too bad these players with no loyalty to TN were ever offered scholarships. Hope the freshmen are hard workers and not quitters who fold when the going is tough.

There is a huge difference between
"quitting",
and "not adding to"

in IMHO I think Alexa just wanted to find a place to enjoy the game she spent her young life preparing to play. Around the time she made this decision public,

good news was,,. "no news"

Her game the first two years was dribble into traffic and turn it over.

She quit. We don't need a quitter back.

Kortney's tweet says it all: https://twitter.com/KDXIII_/status/878474473833476096?s=09

"Ten women strong. Nothing broke us before... "

the door down to get Middleton. She will be a backup at any decent program.

She was just asked to do what she was asked to do within the offense Tennessee runs...and you'll see her at her new school being who she is a fantastic basketball player
