Saw a Midwinter Night's Dram go down to a tall drink mixed with coke or something at a bar downtown last night. It was heartbreaking.

New to this part of the forum, but just scored a bottle of Weller Full Proof last week for $60. Not sure when I am going to open it, but I am already stressed at the thought of it being finished because who knows when I'll get it again.

It’s good. First glass go with the good stuff, second, third etc... go with the stuff that’s readily available

I bought a bottle of their rye I think, it’s in my bag so I can’t remember off the top of my head. It was very smooth.

We’ve made it to Saskatoon at this point.

i had some 10 year last week as well. I was highly disappointed. Long burn on the end that i'd associate with something of higher proof.

That's my usual go to spot over by my house and I knew when i saw the post I'd never make it. Usually that'd be about the time I was coming home for lunch. I was so bummed.

My wife found me a bottle while she was on a business trip in Cincy. I like it. Hope I see some locally

so I had Pappy 23 and 20 last night, both have decreased in quality. I don't know why anyone would pay more than MSRP (in the case of the 23 I wouldn't even do that). The 23 tasted like model glue and bad syrup. Maybe I should have had the 20 first but after the 23 the 20 had almost no taste at all (yes I did the normal water in between). If I had to say anything it tasted like a rubber band. Just garbage. The two I did like were Stagg (chcolate and sweet cinnamon) and Old Forester Birthday (spicy caramel)
